Este documento propone para el caso del MERCOSUR, la aplicación de los criterios de endogeneidad como método alternativo de análisis costo-beneficio, el cual difiere de los métodos tradicionales al incorporar los efectos dinámicos en la evaluación de si determinadas zonas se constituyen o no en potencial candidato para ser considerada Área Monetaria Optima.
