This collection, “Voices from the Homestead,” contains digital interviews with various individuals, primarily in Metcalfe County in south central Kentucky, who participated in the homestead movement during the 1970s. Other counties included in the project are Green, Cumberland, Warren, and Fayette. The movement is characterized by the leaving of individuals from urban settings to settle into a more rural atmosphere. All interviews were conducted by Amy Wilk.
