Previous research has explored the effects of social media use (SMU) on business trust, socialization, and negative youth experiences. Tackling a research gap, this research explored messaging app authenticity’s effect on youth peer relationship satisfaction via a survey of 92 students from De La Salle University (DLSU) Senior High School (SHS) in Academic Year (A.Y.) 2021-2022. Concurrent triangulation with the Authenticity-Satisfaction framework showed strong positive correlations between authenticity and satisfaction across attributes except helpfulness, with openness and relationship affirmation as key in aiding relationship satisfaction, affirmation, and companionship. In January 2021, Covid-19 had already been diagnosed in over 100 million individuals¹. Due to the high degree of infectivity, many countries all over the globe attempted to counter the virus by instituting nation-wide lockdowns. The effects of the lockdowns resulting from the Covid-19 Pandemic on the mental health of children and adolescents have drawn a lot of public health attention with many calling for an increased in the understanding of the potential effects the youth of today may have to endure. Research has indicated a significant relationship between anxiety and time perspective (TP), which is the way one views life in terms of the past, present or future. TP is broken down into five facets based on the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI), including past negative (PN), past positive (PP), present fatalistic (PF), present hedonistic (PH), and future (F) time perspectives (Zimbardo & Boyd, 1999). The aim of the research is to investigate whether the attitude of violence of Kosovo Albanian, Bosnian and Turk adolescents show a significant difference according to ethnic group and gender. The theory of planned behaviour (TPB) and the concept of negative anticipated emotions (NAE) have attracted research attention in the formulation of effective preventive interventions. This approach has identified several key constructs of the TPB (i.e., intentions, attitudes, subjective norms, perceptions of behavioural control) and NAE as valid predictors of gambling behaviours and problems among young people (Martin et al., 2010, 2011; St-Pierre et al., 2015). Recently conducted national prevalence study of youth gambling in Croatia indicated high prevalence of adolescent gambling (especially sports betting), as well as perceived parental acceptance of such behavior (Ricijas et al, 2011). As international research suggest positive correlations between parental perception of gambling and other risk behaviors with the intensity of their childrens' participation in these behaviors (Meerkamper, Derevensky, Cutajar, 2008; Farrington, Loeber, Ttofi, 2011; Cambell et al, 2011), a new study on parental perception of gambling is currently being conducted, using two comparable perspectives - parents and their adolescent children.
