This research sought to investigate the roles of libraries in preventing wars, as well as students' sources of war information, trust and the likelihood of future world war. A descriptive survey design was used in the investigation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Of the 295 survey respondents, Instagram was found as the most preferred source of information on wars while libraries were the least source. When it came to war information, traditional news channels, libraries, and other social media platforms were considered to be trustworthy. The study investigated the influence of organizational justice on turnover intentions of librarians in universities in South-West, Nigeria. The study adopted the survey research design. Four hundred and twelve librarians from fifty-three (53) universities in South-West, Nigeria made up the study's population. Multistage stratified random sampling technique was employed in selecting a sample size of two hundred and three (203). Data was collected through the distribution of validated questionnaires, with a 98.5% response rate. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Political scientists have argued that populism is an ideology that can occur on both the left and right, whereby people begin to see politics as a battle between the people and a powerful elite that fails to represent the people’s interest and are attracted to political candidates who vow to fight corruption. In this chapter, I examine how research in political psychology may help to explain the motivations underlying citizens’ attraction to populist ideologies and political candidates. What explains variation in the inclusion of women in authoritarian cabinets? We theorize that leaders of electoral autocracies are affected by changing international norms of democracy and women’s rights to appoint women ministers. We propose two hypotheses. First, increasing dependence on aid from democratic donors encourages leaders of electoral autocracies to appoint more women ministers. Second, electoral autocrats uprooting democratic traits appoint more women ministers to minimize the reputational costs of their autocratization. Using data from authoritarian regimes in 38 African countries between 1973 and 2013, we find that increases in aid from democracies are associated with modest increases in …

The ability to represent approximate quantities appears to be phylogenetically widespread, but the selective pressures and proximate mechanisms favouring this ability remain unknown. We analysed quantity discrimination data from 672 subjects across 33 bird and mammal species, using a novel Bayesian model that combined phylogenetic regression with a model of number psychophysics and random effect components. This allowed us to combine data from 49 studies and calculate the Weber fraction (a measure of quantity representation precision) for each species. In this study, we analyze the aspect ratings and overall ratings of chain restaurants retrieved from the TripAdvisor multi-dimensional rating system. We gain aspect ratings including food aspect rating, value aspect rating, service aspect rating, and atmosphere aspect rating and their corresponding overall restaurant rating from individual reviews and each restaurant. We build three econometric models to examine how overall rating is affected and found that the food aspect has a significant positive impact on the overall rating.
