งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบระดับความสมดุลระหว่างชีวิตกับการทำงาน 2) ศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบระดับความสุขในการทำงาน และ 3) ศึกษาภาวะหมดไฟในการทำงานของบุคลากรกลุ่มวัยเริ่มทำงาน (First Jobber) ของสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ เป็นการศึกษาแบบผสมผสาน (Mixed-Method Research) โดยการศึกษาเชิงปริมาณได้ศึกษาจากประชากรกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 81 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติเชิงอนุมาน ได้แก่ T-test และ One-Way ANOVA สำหรับการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพเก็บข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ (Key Informant) จำนวน 12 คน โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บุคลากรกลุ่มวัยเริ่มทำงาน (First Jobber) ของสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ มีระดับความสมดุลระหว่างชีวิตกับการทำงานในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยด้านสติปัญญามีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด และด้านการเงินมีค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด และปัจจัยด้านสำนัก/กอง ที่แตกต่างกันมีผลต่อระดับความสมดุลระหว่างชีวิตกับการทำงาน ในส่วนของระดับความสุขในการทำงานในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยด้านความพึงพอใจในงานมีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุดและด้านความรื่นรมย์ในงานมีค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด และปัจจัยสำนัก/กอง และอายุงานที่แตกต่างกันมีผลต่อระดับความสุขในการทำงาน โดยปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดภาวะหมดไฟในการทำงานบุคลากรกลุ่มวัยเริ่มทำงาน (First Jobber) ได้แก่ ปัจจัยหัวหน้า ผู้บังคับบัญชาหรือผู้บริหาร ปัจจัยเพื่อนร่วมงาน ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวกับงาน ปัจจัยด้านค่าตอบแทน สวัสดิการ และปัจจัยวัฒนธรรมองค์การ โดยเมื่อเกิดภาวะหมดไฟในการทำงานเลือกที่จะพูดคุยกับเพื่อนร่วมงาน การพักผ่อนทำกิจกรรมอย่างอื่น หรือเอาตัวเองออกมาจากที่ทำงาน ดังนั้น ผลการวิจัยนี้สามารถนำไปใช้เป็นข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายที่มีต่อสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติเพื่อธำรงรักษากลุ่มวัยเริ่มทำงาน (First Jobber) ให้คงอยู่กับองค์การ อาทิ การปรับเปลี่ยนระบบการทำงานให้มีความยืดหยุ่นมากขึ้นเพื่อลดขั้นตอนการทำงาน การสนับสนุนสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในการทำงานเพื่อให้เกิดความพึงพอใจส่งผลให้มีประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานมากขึ้น และการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีระหว่างผู้บริหารกับบุคลากร

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์พื่อศึกษาระดับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากร และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากรในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต 1 ในการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ ผู้วิจัยเลือกใช้การวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน (Mixed Method Research) โดยกำหนดให้การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) เป็นการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต 1, ผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มบริหารงานบุคคล, และ ผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มพัฒนาครูและบุคลากรทางการศึกษา ในขณะที่การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) เป็นการสำรวจความคิดเห็นของผู้ปฏิบัติงานจริงในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต1 จำนวน 68 คน ด้วยแบบสอบถามออนไลน์ และนำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติ SPSS โดยใช้สถิติการแจกแจงความถี่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ย และการทดสอบค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากรในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต 1 อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด เมื่อพิจารณาถึงปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานพบว่า ปัจจัยจูงใจด้านลักษณะของงานที่สร้างสรรค์และท้าทายมีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานด้านคุณภาพของงาน และด้านความรวดเร็วเป็นอันดับ 1 และปัจจัยจูงใจด้านความรับผิดชอบในงานมีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานด้านปริมาณงานเป็นอันดับ 1 อย่างไรก็ตามปัจจัยภูมิหลังทางประชากรและสังคมทุกตัวแปรไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงาน ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นว่าภูมิหลังทางประชากรและสังคมของบุคลากรในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต 1 ไม่ได้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับความสำเร็จของ “สระแก้วโมเดล” แต่ประการใด แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญมากกว่าและสมควรได้รับการส่งเสริมคือการสร้างปัจจัยจูงใจในการทำงานอย่างเหมาะสม

สารนิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษายุทธศาสตร์อินโด-แปซิฟิกของสหรัฐอเมริกาและความสัมพันธ์สหรัฐอเมริกากับออสเตรเลียในห้วงปีค.ศ.2017-2023 ตลอดจนผลกระทบด้านความมั่นคงภายในภูมิภาคอันเกิดจากผลลัพธ์การดำเนินนโยบายดังกล่าว โดยผู้วิจัยจะใช้กรอบทฤษฎีสัจนิยมเชิงป้องกันเพื่อประกอบการวิเคราะห์บทบาทและพฤติกรรมของสหรัฐอเมริกา จากการศึกษาด้วยกระบวนการวิจัยเชิงเอกสารควบคู่กับพิจารณาสหรัฐอเมริกาผ่านกรอบการวิเคราะห์ได้ข้อค้นพบว่า ยุทธศาสตร์อินโด-แปซิฟิกของสหรัฐอเมริกาส่วนหนึ่งเกิดขึ้นเพื่อสนับสนุนทัศนะที่มีต่อพฤติกรรมของจีนในบริบทการเป็นภัยความมั่นคงซึ่งคุกคามเสรีภาพและเสถียรภาพในระบบระหว่างประเทศ สหรัฐอเมริกาจึงดำเนินนโยบายโดยมีออสเตรเลียเป็นพันธมิตรผู้ให้ความร่วมมือ ส่งผลให้ในห้วงปีค.ศ.2017-2023 นั้น เกิดผลลัพธ์จากการดำเนินงานและความสัมพันธ์ดังกล่าว ได้แก่ ความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงของรัฐมหาอำนาจทั้งสี่ (The Quad) และความร่วมมือทางยุทธศาสตร์ด้านความมั่นคงฉบับใหม่ (AUKUS) ซึ่งสร้างข้อกังวลว่าอาจยั่วยุให้เกิดปฏิกิริยาโต้ตอบจากจีนและสภาวะกลืนไม่เข้าคายไม่ออกต่อสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาค อย่างไรก็ตาม ท่ามกลางความกังวลถึงผลลัพธ์เชิงรุกนั้น เมื่อพิจารณาข้อความที่ระบุในเอกสารสำคัญทางยุทธศาสตร์ของสหรัฐอเมริกาตลอดจนคำแถลงการณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องพบว่า สหรัฐอเมริกามองท่าทีและบทบาทตนเองเป็นเพียงการตอบสนองต่ออิทธิพลของจีนซึ่งคุกคามความมั่นคงในภูมิภาค ขณะเดียวกันสหรัฐอเมริกายังให้ความสำคัญต่อประเด็นความมั่นคงรูปแบบใหม่โดยพัฒนาความร่วมมือแบบทวิภาคีกับออสเตรเลียผ่านการประชุม AUSMIN ทั้งยังพลิกบทบาทเพื่อร่วมมือกับจีนในการแก้ไขปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งสะท้อนว่าสหรัฐอเมริกาพร้อมร่วมมือกับทุกฝ่ายเพื่อจัดการต่อสิ่งที่ตนมองเป็นภัยความมั่นคง

การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง “ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากร กรณีศึกษา กรมสรรพสามิต” มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาทฤษฎี แนวคิด และวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรม 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิต 3) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหา อุปสรรค และแนวทางส่งเสริมการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิต การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ บุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิต จำนวน 375 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้เครื่องมือแบบสอบถามและแบบสัมภาษณ์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) การสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิตในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยด้านการนำไปใช้จริงอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด รองลงมาเป็นด้านการสนับสนุนส่งเสริมความคิด และด้านการเกิดความคิดริเริ่ม ตามลำดับ 2) ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลที่แตกต่างกันส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรไม่แตกต่างกัน 3) ปัจจัยการบริหารจัดการส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากร โดยด้านกลยุทธ์ส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรมากที่สุด 4) ปัจจัยสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงานส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากร โดยสภาพแวดล้อมเชิงสังคมส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรมากที่สุด 5) แนวทางส่งเสริมการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิต พบว่า (1) ควรจัดทำระบบฐานข้อมูลด้านนวัตกรรมของกรมสรรพสามิตเพื่อรวบรวมเป็นคลังความรู้ด้านนวัตกรรม และเผยแพร่ผลงานนวัตกรรมให้บุคลากรสามารถเข้าถึงได้ (2) ควรมีการฝึกอบรมเฉพาะด้านการพัฒนาทักษะการคิดให้แก่บุคลากรทุกประเภทและทุกระดับ (3) ควรให้บุคลากรทุกประเภทและทุกระดับมีโอกาสเข้าร่วมงานประกวดรางวัลนวัตกรรม โดยบูรณาการระหว่างการจัดกิจกรรม ณ สถานที่ตั้ง (Onsite) และทำการถ่ายทอดสดกิจกรรม (Online) เพื่อให้บุคลากรเกิดการเรียนรู้และสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมในนวัตกรรม

งานวิจัยเรื่อง “การศึกษาเชิงเปรียบเทียบทิศทางการปรับตัวกองทุนประกันสังคมเพื่อรองรับสังคมผู้สูงอายุ” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์นโยบายของสำนักงานประกันสังคมในการรับมือกับวิกฤติสังคมผู้สูงอายุและเสนอแนะแนวทางเพื่อให้กองทุนประกันสังคมมีเสถียรภาพ โดยเป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากการถอดบทเรียนการบริหารกองทุนประกันสังคมในประเทศเยอรมันและญี่ปุ่น การศึกษาค้นคว้าเอกสารและกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้อง รวมทั้งการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้บริหารของสำนักงานประกันสังคมจำนวน 3 คน พบว่ากองทุนประกันสังคมของประเทศไทยมีความเสี่ยงขาดสภาพคล่องและล้มละลายในอีก 30 ปีข้างหน้า การปรับปรุงแก้ไขกฎระเบียบและกฎหมายใดเพื่อให้กองทุนมีความยั่งยืน มักพบกับปัญหาอุปสรรคจากการทำประชาพิจารณ์และการรับฟังความเห็นจากภาคประชาชน การแทรกแซงจากฝ่ายการเมือง ผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย จากนายจ้าง ลูกจ้างและรัฐบาล (ไตรภาคี) ภายใต้การบริหารงานของคณะกรรมการประกันสังคม ข้อเสนอแนะในการปรับตัวเพื่อรองรับวิกฤติสังคมผู้สูงอายุ กองทุนประกันสังคมควรเปลี่ยนสถานะเป็นนิติบุคคลเพื่อความคล่องตัวในการบริหารอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ควรพิจารณาอย่างรอบคอบในการปรับเพิ่มเพดานเงินสมทบขั้นต่ำ ขยายเวลาอายุเกษียณ และการปรับปรุงสิทธิประโยชน์ให้สอดคล้องกับโครงสร้างรายได้ของแรงงานที่อยู่ในระบบประกันสังคม นอกจากนี้ ภาครัฐควรพิจารณาออกมาตรการส่งเสริมการเพิ่มจำนวนประชากรให้เพียงพอต่อการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ และสามารถรักษาระดับเงินกองทุนให้อยู่ในระดับที่เหมาะสม

SEARCA, in its 10th five-year plan (10th FYP), implemented the program, Inclusive and Sustainable Agricultural and Rural Development (ISARD). A pilot project was undertaken in a specific rural community following a well-defined scheme for an agroecosystem and through the integration of four inter-related components, technical assistance, capacity building, knowledge management, and linkage and networking. After the completion in 2020, evidences of well-developed agricultural system capable of contributing to the goals of food security and poverty alleviation emerged. Leadership has been shown to be crucial in the success of organizations, especially in higher education. However, little research has been done about leadership styles and effectiveness in North American Division (NAD) of Seventh-Day Adventists (SDA) higher education institutions. My study examined transformational, transactional, and passive avoidant leadership styles and leadership effectiveness in these higher education institutions.

Multilingual learners are the fastest growing student population in US public schools. The purpose of this critical multiple case study was to discover three music teachers’ and one Multilingual Learner resource teacher’s perspectives on the strengths and areas of growth in pedagogies for teaching Multilingual Learners in choral music ensembles. Common areas of strength included: student-centered learning, culturally responsive teaching, and positive classroom environment. Common areas of growth were: multilingual teaching strategies, knowledge of diverse repertoire, community and culture, and multilingual learner empowerment.

Following the dimensional-categorical model of personality functioning, this study used archival data to examine the degree to which narcissism and entitlement determined engagement in violent acts and treatment completion. The study reviewed MCMI-III/IV scores, discharge summaries, and violence histories for a sample of 105 individuals who were referred for forensic outpatient services by the court. Past research revealed that treatment focused on challenging criminogenic thinking aided in reducing recidivism. Pediatric dental fear and anxiety is common, yet there is limited research in this area. Childhood dental anxiety may create challenges for children, parents, and dentists. Parents’ dental anxiety may contribute and maintain children’s dental anxiety. This purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between parent and child dental anxiety and parents’ perceptions of their children’s dental anxiety. This study also investigated parent accommodation in relation to children’s dental anxiety, as well as children’s views of their parents’ anxiety. This study examined multiple demographic and neurocognitive variables to determine which ones were predictive of expressed range of occupational interests and occupational interest types. This study used archival data from an outpatient community training clinic that included the Strong Interest Inventory (SII), tests of intellectual functioning, and tests of executive functioning. Chronic ankle instability (CAI) is associated with residual instability, pain, decreased function, and increased disablement. Injury-related fear has been associated with CAI, although its relationship to other impairments is unclear. The Fear-Avoidance Model is a theoretical framework hypothesizing a relationship between injury-related fear, chronic pain, pain catastrophizing, and disability. It has been useful in understanding fear's influence in other musculoskeletal conditions but has yet to be studied in those with CAI.

Animal Sentience

Despite considerable advances in the study of animal sentience, reluctance to credit non-human animals with emotional capacities persists. I argue that this reluctance is untenable in light of (evolutionary) theory and empirical evidence. Humans may differ from animals in their ability to reflect on, reason about, and deliberately regulate their emotions. If anything, however, this implies animals’ emotional displays provide a more valid and reliable window into their internal states than do humans’, whose displays may be strategically altered. Any signs of pleasure or distress thus constitute direct readouts of animal wellbeing. It is time we start treating animals accordingly.

The purpose of this quantitative study was to examine learning disabilities among juveniles and determine their statistical significance to delinquency and recidivism. Durkheim’s theory of anomie and Merton’s anomie/strain theory were used as the theoretical framework to guide the study.
