This study investigated the use of social media by undergraduates in South-West Nigeria using Bowen and Olabisi Onabanjo universities as a case study. A descriptive research design method was employed for this study, while the population consisted of undergraduate students from thirteen faculties at OOU and seven faculties at BU who are offering undergraduate programs with total population of 15, 291. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the status of East Azerbaijan Public Libraries' services to the users with disabilities. The population of the study consisted of 80 managers and supervisors of public libraries in East Azerbaijan province, Iran. A researcher-made questionnaire, inspired by the American Library Association checklist and the library access checklist (by IFLA) has been used for data gathering. Findings revealed that most of the public libraries in East Azerbaijan province (56.9%) lack sufficient budget for serving the disabled. In this article, an attempt has been made to investigate whether differently abled persons effectively using public library services or not. For the study, 50 questionnaires were distributed to differently abled persons and finally 43 (86%) questionnaires were considered for analysis based on the merit of the filled questionnaires. The analysis of the data revealed that, differently abled persons use City Central Library services very rarely and majority rather all of them were physically disabled persons. The study assessed the usability of library websites in Universities in South-South Nigeria. Eleven University library websites were identified and examined for the study. The study used an analytical survey method to collect data. A usability checklist was adopted for the study. The paper aims that choosing a profession career as Library and Information Science (LIS) in the socio-economic scenario of Karnataka. In the survey study mainly focus on Karnataka state nine general universities LIS students. The pre-structured questionnaire distributed to 350 LIS students in nine general universities of Karnataka state. Among the 350 questionnaire get 331 filled responses. The present study is a qualitative and quantitative analysis of scholarly research publications for mapping the research productivity of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, over a 15 year period (2004-2018). This study is based on SCOPUS database, and a total of 1319 publications were retrieved in order to examine the growth of publication, access type, type of documents of publication, authorship pattern, international collaboration, highly productive subject, author and their citation count etc. We have noticed an increasing trend in the number of publication throughout the year of our study.

This study examines librarian’s professional ethics and reference service delivery in Colleges of Education in Delta and Edo States in south-south, Nigeria. To guide the study, three research questions and one hypothesis have been formulated. The study adopted the descriptive survey design. The purposive sampling technique has been employed in the selection of data while the instrument for data collection was the questionnaire. The reliability of the instrument was estimated using test-retest method and the coefficient of 0.88 was obtained.
