International conflicts have modified into entities that would have been unrecognizable to scholars and practitioners of International Relations two decades or so ago. The global battlefield is transforming into, not objective reality, but rather a field of combined social aspects used to manipulate and twist reality in favor of the players seeking to overcome power positions and grievances. Current patterns of cooperation and conflict constitute a new paradigm of understanding for political science and international relations theorists.
