A printed mail order flyer for Dutch Haven in Soudersburg, Pennsylvania dated 1954. The flyer features advertisements for shoofly pies and other Amish goods such as dolls, puzzles, aprons, toleware plaques and tea towels. It also contains a map of the "heart of Amish country" in Lancaster County and prints a description of Amish and Mennonite traditions.

Electric Shock Therapy And The Word Association Test, Lowell Franklin Jennings

The Word Association Test has been less frequently used in recent years with the advent and popularization of many new projective techniques. From a clinical viewpoint the method is limited in that it gives insufficient material for a description of the personality as a meaningful whole, individual administration is time consuming, and the tendency is to indicate the presence of an emotional disturbance without denoting the exact nature of that disturbance. The recent proposal to amend the Constitution known as the Bricker Amendment concerns a most vital matter for the nation: its relations with foreign states.

In order to estimate the merits and demerits of the Bricker Amendment it is necessary to get acquainted with the historical development and the constitutional interpretation in the field of international arrangements of the United States. The present observations aim at the presentation of this matter down to the Bricker Amendment. The Amendment itself and the discussion it aroused should be treated in a separate article.

The purpose of this investigation and research project has been to discover the answers to certain problems connected with the religious philosophy of the Latter-day Saint people of a given geographical area, through appropriate research methods and procedures. The problems to be answered are as follows:
(1) What is the philosophy of religion of these people as it pertains to predestination and fatalism?
