Second half of World War II scrapbook compiled by Lucian Flora of Smiths Grove, Kentucky. He attended Bowling Green Business University from 1938 to 1940. This scrapbook contains materials regarding the campaigns through North Africa and Italy. Included are a set of postcards from an Italian soldier to his girlfirend. There are also post cards or Ireland, cities in North Africa and Italy, as well as Cincinnati, Ohio and Houston, Texas.

A paper written for Economics 310 at Western Kentucky Teachers College.

My aim in this study is to present in a brief manner the economic and social status of the community or school district in which I live. My data have been collected through observations over a period of twenty years and contacts made with the people of this district, through conferences with those much older than I, from records and reports of others, and a house to house canvass of the district. The pictures, illustrating certain features, were made during the spring of 1935.
