Scrapbook 7 finishes covering the trial of two West Warwick men charged with stealing $100,000 during a holdup and conflict over increasing water rates in West Warwick. Michael DeCiantis had recently resigned as town solicitor and took on the position of legal adviser for the town council free of charge. Following the results of the water rate issue, DeCiantis is elected leader of the West Warwick Democratic Party and later re-elected as town solicitor.

It contains several clippings about illegal quahauging, the trial of two West Warwick men accused of stealing over $100,000 in a Quonset Credit Union holdup, and a widely opposed increase in West Warwick water rates. The International Ball features many programs related to folk songs, dances, and costumes, allowing newspaper articles being created to show appreciation to the event. The impact of the Ball indicates how fast news of the events travels to print. There are also articles that focus on a Korean Aid Drive meant to help preserve the cultural collections of Korean Americans.

This cultural appreciation would be shown at the Rhode Island School of Design to provide audiences would an understanding of Portuguese designs. Alongside these artworks, there is a strong emphasis on Italo-American handicrafts also being displayed in the museum. These newspaper clippings also focus on other activities, organizations, and programs involving the foreign community of Rhode Island.
