Studying The Difference Between Mapping Accuracy Of Non-Rtk Ultra-Lightweight And Rtk-Enabled Survey-Grade Drones, Mostafa Arastounia

This study compares the mapping accuracy of a non-RTK ultra-lightweight drone (DJI Mini2) with two survey-grade RTK-enabled drones (DJI Mavic3E and Phantom4) in three different sites. Flight parameters and weather conditions were the same on each site. The outputs were orthomosaics and digital surface models, whose accuracies were inspected by descriptive statistics and variance analysis tools. The data of the ultralight drone on the first site could not be processed due to strong wind, but its results for the second site (11 hectares) were comparable to those of survey-grade drones, i.e., the range and average of checkpoint errors for Mini2 …

The Summer Seminar of the Arts Papers, housed at the Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) Library, document a lively and eclectic arts festival that took place in Montgomery, Alabama, from 1969 to 1983. The collection brings together correspondence, manuscripts, broadsides, and ephemera, including unexpected items such as a poem typed on aluminum foil, from some of the most celebrated poets of the 20th century, including U.S. Poets Laureate and Pulitzer Prize winners. This article explores how archivists managed the unique challenges of processing a small literary collection filled with delicate and experimental materials. A shared interest in a month-long novel writing event inspired two reference and instruction librarians to develop a serialized program built around writing and research. Today, there is a rapid increase in the number of people using the Internet via smartphones and relying on them for most of their daily activities. Consequently, smartphones are becoming the target of criminals for atrocious purposes. This study investigated the information security awareness and behavior of smartphone users in the Ibadan metropolis, Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. Data was collected with a questionnaire from 400 respondents who were conveniently selected. This study investigated the gratifications contributing to compulsive YouTube use among university students. Compulsive YouTube use, marked by an inability to regulate consumption despite negative impacts to the user, is analysed through the Uses and Gratifications Theory (U&G) and Compulsive Internet Use (CIU). Specifically, the study examined how different gratifications—such as emotional support, habitual viewing, and escapism—drive compulsive use patterns. A cross-sectional survey strategy was employed, collecting data from 175 university students through structured online questionnaires. Online communities fulfil our innate desire for connection in an increasingly connected world. While offering benefits, they also present disadvantages, attracting significant scholarly attention—especially as their use surged during pandemic-related isolation. Key unresolved questions remain regarding these platforms.

This paper identifies and analyses prevalent misinformation types within online communities, examines how communities create or contribute to its spread, and explores their strategies for mitigating it. Using a grounded theory approach and semi-structured questionnaires, the study reveals that common misinformation forms include misconceptions, fake news, fraud, rumours, and cyberbullying. The proliferation of digital communication technologies has reshaped adolescent interactions, with social media and hookup apps becoming common spaces for connection and exposure to online risks. This study explores the link between cyberbullying via hookup apps and its effects on academic performance and psychosocial well-being among senior high school students in Ghana. Drawing on Social Learning Theory and General Strain Theory, it examines how online victimization influences emotional health and academic outcomes. This article presents an investigation of the state of peer review for Open Educational Resource (OER) Textbooks, which denotes the variability of peer review practices across OER platforms. The environ-mental scan highlights the critical finding that the perception of quality between OER textbooks and commercially published or traditional textbooks is often linked to the presence or absence of a formal, pre-publication peer review process. Findings emphasized a strong preference on behalf of adopters and potential authors of OER textbooks to have a standardized process or guidance for pursuing pre-publication peer review.
