A report about a seven year project between Columbia College, Chicago and La Asociacion Interamericana de Radio Difusion, Telesistema Mexicana, S.A., Radio Programs de Mexico, y La Asociacion Nacional de Locutores to develop a 'practical curricula in arts and techniques of mass-communication" in Mexico City. Columbia College faculty provided training to Latin American television executives and helped to develop a two-year curriculum, housed originally at Abraham Gonzalez 49, Mexico City 1, D.F., Mexico. A handwritten letter from Henry M. Fulmer addressed to Alfred L. Shoemaker, dated August 1, 1954. Within, Henry expresses his shock upon hearing news of a group of Amish men being jailed for refusing to allow their children to be educated after the eighth grade. Henry expresses a desire for legislation to be passed with the help of Shoemaker, in ensuring the Amish are exempt from compulsory education.

In Education and Living, a two-volume work, Borsodi elaborated the model of the School of Living. Most of volume one consists of a critique of “mis-education.” Most of that critique focuses on the problems of centralization; centralization of industry, the economy, politics and education. The second volume of Education and Living explains Borsodi’s vision of achieving decentralization in detail. The second volume is in two parts: Right-Education and Re-Education. This report by Hans Schwalm on a meeting with Alfred Huhnhäuser discusses possibilities for creating a centralized research institute in Norway. Huhnhäuser was disappointed that his plan would receive no support as long as it included the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Society as the main tie to Germany. He and Schwalm discuss other options. Schwalm reports on the situation of the Ahnenerbe in pursuing such a project, indicating that they are 2 1/2 years behind Huhnhäuser, who has achieved great respect and built solid connections. Schwalm reports on a meeting with Dr. Huhnhäuser concerning the Reichskommissariat Science and Education Department, the establishment of a centralized research association in Norway, literature propaganda and future collaboration. He discusses the incorporation of Huhnhäuser into the SS to facilitate future work as well as Huhnhäuser's work to promote German literature, particularly to counteract the literature distributed by German emigrants. The primary focus is on the possibility of creating a centralized research institute through close German-Norwegian collaboration. Schwalm notes that Huhnhäuser's plans fit with the Ahnenerbe goals. This 1904 reprint of the Sioux Treaty of 1868, also known as the Treaty of Fort Laramie, 1868, was transcribed and published in vol. II of Charles Kappler’s Indian Affairs. Laws and Treaties. This treaty, between the United States government and the Sioux and Arapaho Nations, established the Great Sioux Reservation, promised the Sioux would own the Black Hills in perpetuity, and set aside the country north of the North Platte River and east of the summits of the Big Horn Mountains as unceded Indian territory. This 1904 reprint of the unratified treaty with the Arikara, Mandan, and Hidatsa, was reprinted as the Agreement at Fort Berthold, 1866, in vol. II of Charles Kappler’s Indian Affairs. Laws and Treaties. Originally signed on July 27, 1866, at Fort Berthold, Dakota Territory, this treaty and its Addenda were a set of agreements between the US government and representatives of the Arikara, Mandan, and Hidatsa Nations. In this document, the Arikara, Mandan, and Hidatsa agreed to cede a portion of their land on the east bank of the Missouri River and granted a right-of-way for roads through their …

This treaty, signed on April 29, 1868, between the United States government and the Sioux and Arapaho Nations, established the Great Sioux Reservation, promised the Sioux would own the Black Hills in perpetuity, and set aside the country north of the North Platte River and east of the summits of the Big Horn Mountains as unceded Indian territory. Furthermore, the U.S. government pledged to close the Bozeman Trail forts and provide food, clothing, and annuities to the tribes, given that they agreed to relinquish all rights to live outside the reservation.
