Individuals diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are less likely to pursue higher education and more likely to face numerous challenges, such as increased rates of academic probation, withdrawal from classes, lower GPAs, and decreased graduation rates (Advokat et al., 2011; Heiligenstein et al., 1999; Wolf, 2001). Guided by Intersectionality (Crenshaw, 1989; 1991) and using data from the Online College Social Life Survey, we investigated whether the concept of the “red-zone” (i.e., the idea that first-year students are more likely than older students to be sexually assaulted; Cranney, 2015) was a universal concept or if it was relevant to only White students. Additionally, we sought to determine whether Black, Indigenous, and Peoples of Color (BIPOC) students were more likely to report having been sexually assaulted than White students. Social Support In An Internet-Based Weight Loss Intervention Among College Students, Yijia Zhang

Objective: To assess college students’ perceptions regarding online social support in an 8-week Internet-based weight loss intervention.

Participants: Participants were those randomized to the intervention group of an online weight loss intervention targeting overweight and obese college students.

Methods: Members of the intervention group had access to a private discussion forum and weekly live chat sessions, allowing for anonymous interactions. Following the 8-week intervention, intervention group members were invited to complete an online focus group, discussing these tools. RAs have the opportunity to impact many students’ lives through the various roles that they engage in as a RA. The most common roles that RAs are expected to perform include developing community, serving as a peer helper, being a friend to residents, and enforcing policy.
