This study intended to carry out a scientometric analysis of the literature on health literacy related to Covid-19 pandemic and infodemic to determine its periodic growth, publication format dispersion, core journals, authorship patterns, geographic origin, keywords patterns, and core institutions. Two general bibliographic databases such as Scopus and Web of Science were searched using keywords such as ‘health literacy, health education, health communication, health promotion, combining with Covid-19 using AND to identify related citations. The university students were surveyed using an online questionnaire at two public sector universities and one private sector university in Punjab-Pakistan. Health Records Officers’ Act was promulgated formally by Decree No. 39 of 1989 (HROA; 1989) now CAP 166 LFN1990. The Decree establishes a Board for general administration of the profession of Health Records management in Nigeria. The paper which was a desk top study discovered the constitutional requirements for the Health information practices and implementation strategies as stipulated by the Act. The study revealed the prospects and challenges associated with the implementation of the Act on the professionals. People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) access information from different sources. They are being warned regularly on the need to stay away from all forms of risk practices which may cause further spread of the dreaded diseases. The study endeavour to investigate the level of information access opened to PLWHA and tried to find the relationship between information accessibility and risk practices.
