The Rattler (Previous issues)
Volume 1, Issue 2 of The Rattler addresses national economic concerns arising from the ongoing war effort, particularly the rising cost of living. The publication attributes increasing expenses to fluctuations in the value of the dollar and gold. In addition to its coverage of economic conditions, the issue highlights the continued success of the Business Department, recognizes the achievements of the football team during its season, and reports on the Literary Circle’s inaugural meeting. Together, these topics reflect both the broader national climate and the growing academic and extracurricular life of the institution.
