The monograph, a sociological study by a Western social scientist working in Egypt, on a popular quarter of Cairo. The study of the traditional quarters of the great cities of the Middle East has been a very much neglected area of research; in this monograph, bringing painstaking reseach and impressive sociological insight to bear, is our contribution towards folling the gap.

Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Demonstrating that each of the three major psychological world views—naturalistic, humanistic, and transpersonal—has Its own singular weakness. Mark P. Cosgrove suggests an alternative: Christian theism. "A world view based on Christian beliefs." says Cosgrove. "adequately copes with the weaknesses of modern psychological world views and provides a suitable framework for the study of man and the development of solutions to human problems."

The John Gary Anderson Papers consist of biographical sketches of J.G. Anderson and Alice Holler Anderson (wife of J.G. Anderson), newspaper clippings offering accounts of the success and failures of the Rock Hill Buggy Company, the Anderson Motor Company and “the Rock Hill Plan” for reduction of the cotton crop in the south. Also included is a map of Rock Hill dated 1891 and scrapbooks containing advertising materials for Anderson’s products, photographs, and correspondence relating to Anderson’s business, his will and years as a trustee of Winthrop College (1920-1937).
