Volume I is the statement volume. Volume II consists of two parts. Part I contains the comment and response portion of Section 9 for the 1977 Draft EIS. The plan was prepared for a close working relationship between the evaluation teams and the immediate availability of geochemical and geophysical data to the geologic mapping team. Those samples determined in the field to be anomalously high in heavy metals by cold extractable procedures were sent to North American Laboratories where metal content determinations were made through: atomic absorption and spectrophotometry after hot acid digestion techniques.
