Local And 2-Local Derivations Of Solvable Leibniz Algebras With Null-Filiform Nilradical, Sardorbek Umrzaqov

In the works of Ayupov, Khudoyberdiyev and Yusupov proved that the local and 2-local derivation of solvable Leibniz algebras with model nilradical are derivations. Solvable Leibniz algebras with null-filiform nilradical are the partial case of solvable Leibniz algebras with model nilradical. However, the proof in the paper is different from model nilradical case. The derivation is a fundamental notion in mathematics. Derivations play a prominent role in algebra. There are many generalizations of derivations as antiderivation, δ-derivations, ternary derivations and (α,β,γ)-derivations. In the paper, it has been investigated how Gronwall`s inequality can be used in theory of Differential Games. Here a pursuit problem of linear differential game has been studied when constraints of Gronwall type generalizing geometrical constraint imposed on control parameters of players. To solve the pursuit problem it will be proposed a parallel pursuit strategy ( -strategy) and its structure will be studied in relation to parameters. In this article, the authors` previous works will be advanced and extended. As a result of the work, the new sufficiency conditions will be suggested.

Keyword search has been seen in recent years as an attractive way for querying data with some form of structure. Indeed, it allows simple users to extract information from databases without mastering a complex structured query language and without having knowledge of the schema of the data. It also allows for integrated search of heterogeneous data sources. However, as keyword queries are ambiguous and not expressive enough, keyword search cannot scale satisfactorily on big datasets and the answers are, in general, of low accuracy. Therefore, flat keyword search alone cannot efficiently return high quality results on large data with structure. …

A Radial Basis Function Finite Difference Scheme For The Benjamin–Ono Equation, Benjamin F. Akers, Tony Liu, Jonah A. Reeger

A radial basis function-finite differencing (RBF-FD) scheme was applied to the initial value problem of the Benjamin–Ono equation. The Benjamin–Ono equation has traveling wave solutions with algebraic decay and a nonlocal pseudo-differential operator, the Hilbert transform. When posed on ℝ, the former makes Fourier collocation a poor discretization choice; the latter is challenging for any local method. We develop an RBF-FD approximation of the Hilbert transform, and discuss the challenges of implementing this and other pseudo-differential operators on unstructured grids. Numerical examples, simulation costs, convergence rates, and generalizations of this method are all discussed.

Which suggestions for behavioral modifications, based on mathematical models, are most likely to be followed in the real world? We address this question in the context of human circadian rhythms. Jet lag is a consequence of the misalignment of the body’s internal circadian (~24-hour) clock during an adjustment to a new schedule. Light is the clock’s primary synchronizer. Previous research has used mathematical models to compute light schedules that shift the circadian clock to a new time zone as quickly as possible. How users adjust their behavior when provided with these optimal schedules remains an open question. Here, we report …

In this article we study the Schrödinger-Poisson system−∆ u+ V (| x|) u+ λφu= f (u), x∈ R3,−∆ φ= u2, x∈ R3, where V is a singular potential with the parameter α and the nonlinearity f satisfies critical growth. By applying a generalized version of Lions-type theorem and the Nehari manifold theory, we establish the existence of the nonnegative ground state solution when λ= 0. By the perturbation method, we obtain a nontrivial solution to above system when λ= 0.

The need for production processes of large biotherapeutic particles, such as virus-based particles and extracellular vesicles, has risen due to increased demand in the development of vaccinations, gene therapies, and cancer treatments. Liquid chromatography plays a significant role in the purification process and is routinely used with therapeutic protein production. However, performance with larger macromolecules is often inconsistent, and parameter estimation for process development can be extremely time- and resource-intensive. This article describes a cooperative research partnership among a large public university, a for-profit private institution and their common adaptive learning platform provider. The focus of this work explored adaptive analytics that uses data the investigators describe as metaphorical “digital learning dust” produced by the platform as a matter of course. The information configured itself into acquired knowledge, growth, baseline status and engagement. Two complimentary models evolved. The first, in the public university, captured end-of-course data for predicting success. The second approach, in the private university, formed the basis of a dynamic real-time data analytic algorithm. In both cases the …

We know that we can use the neural networks for the approximation of functions for many types of activation functions. Here, we treat only neural networks with simple and particular activation function called rectified linear units (ReLU). The main aim of this paper is to introduce a type of constructive universal approximation theorem and estimate the error of the universal approximation. We will obtain optimal approximation if we have a basis independent of the target function. We prove a type of Debao Chen's theorem for approximation.

The (general) hypoexponential distribution is the distribution of a sum of independent exponential random variables. We consider the particular case when the involved exponential variables have distinct rate parameters. We prove that the following converse result is true. If for some n ≥ 2, X1, X2, . . . , Xn are independent copies of a random variable X with unknown distribution F and a specific linear combination of Xj ’s has hypoexponential distribution, then F is exponential. Thus, we obtain new characterizations of the exponential distribution. As corollaries of the main results, we extend some previous characterizations established recently …

Many ecological and spatial processes are complex in nature and are not accurately modeled by linear models. Regression trees promise to handle the high-order interactions that are present in ecological and spatial datasets, but fail to produce physically realistic characterizations of the underlying landscape. The "autocart'' (autocorrelative regression trees) R package extends the functionality of previously proposed spatial regression tree methods through a spatially aware splitting function and novel adaptive inverse distance weighting method in each terminal node. The efficacy of these autocart models, including an autocart extension of random forest, is demonstrated on multiple datasets. This highlights the ability …

This presentation is about graphs (the vertex-edge kind, not the y = f(x) kind). A graph is a mathematical object that represents objects and some relationship among them; the objects are represented by vertices and the relationships are represented by the edges. Graphs have applications in just about every field imaginable, including artificial intelligence, social network theory, and parallel computing theory. A directed graph is a type of graph used to represent relationships that are one-sided or not symmetric. Hyper-positive real, matrix-valued, rational functions are associated with absolute stability (the Lurie problem). Here, quantitative subsets of Hyper-positive functions, related through nested inclusions, are introduced. Structurally, this family of functions turns out to be matrix-convex and closed under inversion.
A state-space characterization of these functions through a corresponding Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov Lemma, is given. Technically, the classical Linear Matrix Inclusions, associated with passive systems, are here substituted by Quadratic Matrix Inclusions.
