The Tiger's Back "A Report On Australian Organizations For Metropolitan Planning Administration", Robert D. Kuzelka
Conservation and Survey Division: Faculty and Staff Publications
The Australian town planning scene presents many interesting and unusual aspects to the city planner from the United States of America. Aspects which because of familiarity and proximity may not strike the Australian town planner as being either interesting, or unusual. This report will discuss some of these aspects as they seem to be affecting each major metropolitan region which includes the capital city in each of the six Australian States. Throughout the report, "metropolitan region" refers to the unit, or units of Local Government which are included in the planning area of each organization which is considered in this …

Stratigraphy Of Chugwater Group (Triassic) East Side Of Bighorn Mountains, Wyoming And Montana, Robert C. Mclellan
Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences: Dissertations, Theses, and Student Research
The Chugwater Group (Triassic), on the east side of the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming and Montana, forms a narrow outcrop band of hogbacks. Four redbed formations are included in the Chugwater. From base to top they are: 1) Red Peak, 2) Crow Mountain, 3) Jelm, and 4) Popo Agie. The Chugwater is disconformably underlain by t];ie Goose Egg Formation (Permian) and unconformably overlain, from south to north, by the Sundance, Gypsum Spring, and Piper Formations of Jurassic Age.
The rocks of the Chugwater, in order of abundance, are: siltstone, sandstone, claystone, conglomerate, limestone, dolomite, and gypsum. Binocular microscope studies were …

Precambrian Well Data In Nebraska, Including Rock Type And Surface Configuration, Marvin P. Carlson
Conservation and Survey Division: Faculty and Staff Publications
This bulletin presents, in tabular form, information relating to the Precambrian surface and includes a configuration map of this surface in Nebraska. The data from all of the 1460 deep tests reaching the Precambrian as of January 1, 1966 are listed. It is anticipated that further studies utilizing this data will be made due to the important influence of the Precambrian surface on later sedimentation and structure and the possibility of minerals of economic importance being present in Precambrian rocks. Specific information for each well and samples, except as noted in the tabulation, are on file and available for study …
