North River And South River Estuary Tidal Marsh And Channel Sediment And Water Level Data, Hannah Baranes, Brian Yellen, Jonathan Woodruff, W Rockwell Geyer, Justin Richardson, Frances Griswold
Data and Datasets
The data within this repository are observations from the North-South Rivers estuary and tidal marsh in the Massachusetts (USA) towns of Marshfield, Scituate, and Norwell. Types of data include 1) sediment core data, including x-ray fluorescence data, organic content, and foraminifera counts; 2) tidal channel observations of water level and turbidity; and 3) marsh platform observations of water level and turbidity.

CCPO Data Sets
These data contain vertical rates (mm/yr) of surface land displacements and their associated uncertainties from 2015-03-15 to 2019-06-01.
They are associated with Buzzanga, B. A., Bekaert, D. P. S., Hamlington, B. D., and Sanga, S. (2020), "Towards Sustained Monitoring of Subsidence at the Coast Using InSAR and GNSS: An Application in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Geophysical Research Letters.

With rising temperatures glaciers around the globe are beginning to melt. Melting of large glaciers should be concerning as they can raise the present sea-level which could potentially put near sea-level urban areas underwater. We must observe the rate at which glaciers are retreating. Mountain glaciers are a good resource to observe as they do give a clear visual of how fast glaciers are retreating. This project hopes to give a good visual representation and quantitative measurement of how much glacial melt is occurring at Mt Baker in Washington, United States, in the last 20 years. This project will use …

Data
The APR file "mdde_habitat" and the directories "gisdata", "images", and "temp" together are an appendix to Part 1, "Benthic Habit Mapping and Resource Evaluation of Potential Sand Mining Areas Offshore Maryland and Delaware, 1998-1999" that was created with and must be read with "ArcView" (tm) software with the "Spatial Analyst" extension. To view the project, start the ArcView program and open the project file, mmde-habitat.apr, when prompted. The project should enable the necessary extensions. It is a very large file and may take 5 to 10 minutes to load.
