This study aims to address the communication hallenges faced by the Indonesian deaf community by developing an automatic classification model for Sistem Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia (SIBI) using data mining techniques. The main objective is to identify a practical algorithm for recognizing SIBI hand gestures to enhance accessibility and inclusiveness in digital communication. A comprehensive dataset consisting of 32,850 gesture samples representing SIBI alphabet signs was collected and processed through feature extraction, data cleaning, and normalization using Z-Transform and Min-Max methods. The quality of input data is critical to the performance of time-series classification models, particularly in the domain for industrial sensor data where noise and anomalies are frequent. This study investigates how various filtering-based preprocessing techniques impact the accuracy and robustness of a Transformer model that predicts power efficiency states (Normal, Caution, Warning) from minute-level IIoT sensor data. Accurate and efficient prediction of lithium-ion battery state of health (SOH) is critical for ensuring reliability in electric vehicles, grid storage, and aerospace systems. Traditional SOH estimation methods often struggle with nonlinear degradation behaviors and lack sensitivity to subtle electrochemical signals, limiting their real-world deployment. To address these challenges, this study examines hybrid deep learning models that integrate differential capacity (dQ/dV) analysis to enhance predictive accuracy. Data-dependence analysis can identify causally-unordered events in a pending event set. The execution of these events is independent from all other scheduled events, making them ready for execution. These events can be executed out of order or in parallel. This approach may find and utilize more parallelism than spatial-decomposition parallelization methods, which are limited by the number of subdomains and by synchronization methods. This work provides formal definitions that use data-dependence analysis to find causally-unordered events and uses these definitions to measure parallelism in several discrete-event simulation models. Feature Distillation (FD) strategies are proven to be effective in mitigating Catastrophic Forgetting (CF) seen in Class Incremental Learning (CIL). However, current FD approaches enforce strict alignment of feature magnitudes and directions across incremental steps, limiting the model’s ability to adapt to new knowledge. In this paper, we propose Structurally Stable Incremental Learning (S²IL), a FD method for CIL that mitigates forgetting by focusing on preserving the overall spatial patterns of features which promote flexible (plasticity) yet stable representations that preserve old knowledge (stability). Incomplete multi-view clustering (IMVC) deals with real-world scenarios where certain views are partially missing, posing significant challenges to effective clustering. Most existing IMVC approaches face a trade-off: imputation-free methods suffer from information bias and imbalance, while full-imputation methods risk introducing and propagating noise. To overcome these limitations, we propose Energy-Based Deep Incomplete Multi-View Clustering (Energy-DIMC), a novel selective-imputation framework that leverages energy-based models (EBMs) to guide reliable imputations and robust clustering. EBMs assess data compatibility by assigning lower energy to more coherent structures, effectively modeling complex inter-view and inter-sample dependencies. The use of machine learning to create data-driven plant models and controllers has led to an increased need for safety and optimality monitors for model-based systems. System plant models are subject to uncertainty due to learning constraints such as unseen data and overfitting or physical constraints such as unknown dynamics and noise. Predicting debtor eligibility is essential for effective risk management and minimizing lousy credit risks. However, financial institutions face challenges such as imbalanced data, inefficient feature selection, and limited user accessibility. This study combines Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) and Deep Learning (DL) to improve prediction accuracy. It integrates a chatbot interface for user-friendly testing. RFE effectively identifies critical features, while the DL model achieves a validation accuracy of 97.62%, surpassing previous studies with less comprehensive methodologies. This study addresses the critical role of medical image classification in enhancing healthcare effectiveness and tackling the challenges of imbalanced medical datasets. It focuses on optimizing classification performance by integrating Canny edge detection for segmentation and Hu-moment feature extraction and applying oversampling and undersampling techniques. Five diverse medical datasets were utilized, covering Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, COVID-19, brain tumours, and lung cancer. This study evaluates the accuracy of the Neighbor Weighted K-Nearest Neighbor (NWKNN) method in classifying the anxiety levels of final-year students as they prepare to enter the workforce, particularly in cases of unbalanced data distribution. The system was developed using the prototype method, and NWKNN was applied to classify anxiety levels into low, medium, and high categories. Testing using the Confusion Matrix demonstrated strong performance, achieving an accuracy of 94% based on a dataset of 1009 students, with a 90:10 ratio of training to test data. The Sundanese script (Aksara Sunda), an essential part of Sundanese cultural heritage, has been used since the 14th century AD. However, recognizing handwritten Sundanese characters remains challenging due to variations in individual writing styles. This study compares the performance of Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) and Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) for recognizing handwritten Sundanese vowel (Swara) characters. A dataset was collected from 15 individuals, each writing seven Sundanese vowel characters, which were then used for training and testing the recognition models. Analyzing a rich dataset from Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, spanning 2012 to 2022, the study focuses on donor profiles, including demographics, donation history, and engagement patterns. Key demographic insights include the increasing engagement of younger donors (20-29 age group) and significant contributions from older donors (70-99 age group). Data exploitation techniques are the enabler for technological advancements in military ISR applications of ladar ISR. By identifying instances of military objects in observed scenes, point cloud deep learning models can unlock new standards of real-time information delivery to warfighters. In this work, machine learning theory is applied to the design of a radar detector in order to train a machine learning-based detector that is robust against Doppler shifts. The radar system is designed to work with data that would be otherwise intractable to conventional optimal detector design, such as transmitted noise waveforms and the effects of one-bit quantization at the receiver. The detection performance of the one-bit receiver is shown to match the performance of the derived square-law sign correlator detector. Advanced analytical approaches are required to accurately forecast the energy sector's rising complexity and volume of time series data. This research aims to forecast the energy demand utilising sophisticated Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) configurations with Attention mechanisms (Att), Grid search, and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). In addition, the study also examines the influence of Min-Max and Z-Score normalization approaches in the preprocessing stage on the accuracy performances of the baselines and the proposed models. This study uses the Random Forest algorithm to measure and predict the Air Pollution Standard Index (APSI) at Blimbing Banyuwangi Airport. Air pollution data, including concentrations of O3, CO, NO2, SO2, PM2.5, and PM10, were collected from air monitoring stations at the airport from April 15-30, 2024. APSI measurement followed established formulas by relevant authorities. Data analysis utilized statistical approaches and computational algorithms. The findings reveal that air quality at the airport is generally "Moderate," with occasional "Good" days. The Random Forest algorithm effectively predicts APSI based on existing pollution data.
