Despite massive company investments in human–computer interaction devices and software, such as Web 3.0 technologies, engineers are not demonstrating measurable performance and productivity increases. There is a lack of knowledge and understanding related to the motivation of engineers to use Web 3.0 technologies including the semantic web and cloud applications for increased performance.
