In this paper, we considered the problem of analytical continuation of the solution of the system equations of the thermoelasticity in bounded domain from its values and values of its strains on part of the boundary of this domain, i.e., the Cauchy’s problem and we give a criterion for the solvability of the Cauchy problem.

This work is devoted to the study of an approximate solution of the initial-boundary value problem for the second order mixed type nonhomogeneous differential equation with two degenerate lines. Similar equations have many different applications, for example, boundary value problems for mixed type equations are applicable in various fields of the natural sciences: in problems of laser physics, in magneto hydrodynamics, in the theory of infinitesimal bindings of surfaces, in the theory of shells, in predicting the groundwater level, in plasma modeling, and in mathematical biology. In this work, we study boundary value problem for nonhomogeneous mixed-type equation with two degenerate lines. A priori estimate for the solution of the problem is obtained, theorems of uniqueness and conditional stability in the set of correctness are proved. The approximate solution by the regularization method has been constructed.
