Environmental Assessments (WY)

The Western Area Power Administration (Western) is proposing to construct, operate, and maintain a new 230-kV transmission line between the Carter Mountain and Thermopolis Substations in northcentral Wyoming (Hot Springs County). The project area is shown on Map 2-1. This environmental assessment was prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the regulations of the Council on Environmental Quality and the Department of Energy, which is responsible for approval of the proposed action.
