With the rise in deer–vehic^le collisⁱons across the United States, the associated costs also have risen. Increasingly, however, researchers are learning that these collisions are not a random phenomena but ^follow a syst^ematic pattern. Bu_ilding on this in_sight, we explored the role of county characteri^stics in influencing the pattern and incidence of w^hite-tailed deer- (Odocoileus virginianus) related auto c^ollisions.
