The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of ankle braces on functional movement and ankle joint range of motion on female Division 1 collegiate volleyball players. The data will be analyzed to determine if ankle braces impede or help functional movement and ankle joint range of motion. It was hypothesized that ankle braces will not affect overall functional performance but will have an effect on ankle joint range of motion and lower body kinematics.

The purpose of this study is to expand the known effects that energy drinks have on an aerobic exercise performance and explore a new population of female soccer midfielders through the use of a Wingate test. It is hypothesized that the consumption of an energy drink prior to a Wingate an aerobic test would result in overall better an aerobic performance, specifically with increased power and a lower fatigue index.

The Female Athlete Triad (FAT) is characterized by three individualized disorders that are present at the same time. Low energy availability with or without disordered eating, amenorrhea, and osteoporosis are the three components that make up the Female Athlete Triad. Due to the competitive nature and extreme exercise expenditure of female athletes at the Division 1 level, it is likely that these females are at a higher risk of experiencing the components of the Female Athlete Triad.

The Bench Press is said to be the most important of all upper body exercises (Deaton, Ras, 2019). This exercise incorporates several of the muscles in the upper body and is included in training programs for several different sports and activities. The participants of this study were 30 college males, each with at least 1 year of previous training experience and no previous injuries or disabilities that would impair bench press performance.
