Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) leads to progressive functional impairment and considerable economic burden. This study estimated the annual (12-month) cost per patient among patients with RA and its determinant factors. A descriptive cross-sectional economic study of RA patients who had been treated for at least one year at the outpatient clinic of a national referral hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia, and met the 2010 ACR–EULAR criteria. Diabetes mellitus is a leading cause of mortality and economic burden, with significant impacts on health outcomes and quality of life. Effective self-management is crucial for controlling Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). Thailand has implemented diverse self-management interventions for adults with T2DM in primary care and community settings, but the components, delivery, duration, and outcomes of these interventions have not been synthesized. This study examined the moderating role of perceived social support on the relationship between resilience and depression among individuals diagnosed with COPD in South Tangerang, Indonesia. The rising prevalence of chronic diseases and disabilities, along with the aging of the population, has reduced individual independence and increased the demand for long-term care (LTC). This study aimed to assess the feasibility of integrating home healthcare services into Indonesia’s National Health Insurance (NHI) scheme. The achievement of the Minimum Service Standards (MSS) in Yahukimo District, Highland Papua Province, Indonesia, warrants examination. This study aimed to analyze factors associated with the achievement of health service targets among Public Health Centers (PHCs) in Yahukimo District. An ecological study design was employed. The participants were 400 health workers from 33 PHCs and were examined using Likert-scale questionnaires. Data were processed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to assess the association of each variable. Cervical cancer is a common gynecological malignancy, particularly in developing countries, where it coexists with renal impairment in over one-third of patients. This disease typically presents acutely and progresses rapidly. Consequently, kidney replacement therapy, including hemodialysis (HD), is commonly required. To assess survival rates and associated factors, this retrospective cohort study analyzed the medical records of 252 cervical cancer patients who began HD across a three-month follow-up period. Kaplan–Meier analysis indicated a median short-term survival duration of 71.5 days (range: 7–90), with 1-, 2-, and 3-month survival rates of 56%, 51%, and 49%, respectively. The COVID-19 pandemic and armed conflicts in Myanmar have intensified the challenges in accessing and utilizing health services, particularly for noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) among older adults. This qualitative study explored the experiences of the elderly with NCDs regarding health service accessibility and utilization in secure areas with fully operational health facilities by conducting in-depth interviews with 20 eligible older adults in Myanmar; data were analyzed using content analysis. Life expectancy is widely recognized as a fundamental indicator of population health, and its improvement is often linked to government health spending, particularly in decentralized health systems. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between local government health expenditures and life expectancy in decentralized Indonesia. Data from 492 cities and districts, spanning from 2015 to 2019, were analyzed using a two-way fixed effects regression model to control for time-invariant district characteristics and common temporal shocks. Improving healthcare service quality required both technical and interpersonal enhancements through a personalized approach, as demonstrated by the “Duta We Care” program at a Central General Hospital in Padang. This study aimed to evaluate the program’s effectiveness by analyzing patient feedback from Google Reviews. A descriptive quantitative design examined 2,035 patient reviews from March 2013 to June 2024. Using NVivo 12 software, the data analysis generated word clouds. The results showed that 68.20% of reviews received a 5-star rating, 9.48% a 4-star rating, 4.35% a 3-star rating, 2.27% a 2-star rating, and 15.70% a 1-star rating. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) represents a growing global health challenge with significant clinical and economic implications, notably in Indonesia. The burden is intensified by renal and cardiovascular complications, especially among National Health Insurance beneficiaries. This retrospective study evaluated the direct medical costs of hospitalized T2DM patients with such complications at a type B hospital from 2019 to 2022. Health workers at primary health care are the frontline providers of community health services. This study aimed to investigate the level of job satisfaction of health workers at primary health care in Palembang City, South Sumatra Province, Indonesia, and its influencing factors. Using a questionnaire developed by the authors' team, the study involved 257 samples. A total of 66.15% of respondents indicated high satisfaction, 21.79% reported moderate satisfaction, and 12.06% expressed dissatisfaction. A statistically significant correlation was found between knowledge, skills, income, promotion opportunities, work supervision, and relationships with colleagues and job satisfaction (p-value <0.001). The correlations were strong, with Spearman's rho of 0.822, 0.869, 0.912, 0.895, and 0.821, respectively. Statistical analysis of the Wilcoxon rank-sum and Kruskal-Wallis tests showed no significant differences in median satisfaction scores between sociodemographic groups (p-value 0.072 to 0.552>0.05). This study investigated the attentiveness of elderly caregivers in long-term care facilities in maintaining oral function. A cross-sectional approach was used to achieve the study's purpose. The sample size formula accounted for 213 caregivers randomly selected from 18 long-term care facilities in 4 provinces. A self-reported questionnaire of sociodemographic characteristics and an adapted Leopold’s oral care checklist was distributed. This bibliometric study examined the evolving research landscape on physician mental health from 2010 to 2023, analyzing key themes, publication trends, and global contributions. A total of 3,360 articles, including 3,137 original research and 223 reviews, were sourced from Web of Science and Scopus. Findings revealed a significant increase in research output, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, with burnout, depression, and anxiety emerging as dominant themes. This study aimed to synthesize the research findings on the factors leading to the adoption of telemedicine among developing economies. This article explores the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM) and hospital image on hospital patient loyalty, emphasizing the mediating role of patient commitment. Amidst the development of the healthcare industry sector in Indonesia, this study highlighted that e-WoM and hospital image significantly enhanced patient loyalty, with patient commitment playing an important mediating role. This article suggested practical strategies for hospitals, such as improving the quality of healthcare services, leveraging positive e-WoM, and implementing loyalty programs to elevate patient commitment and loyalty. Children under the age of five (the under-five) from low-income families are more vulnerable to experience underweight. This nutritional vulnerability is evident in the preliminary study, where 35.1% of the under-five experience underweight, and 28.48% are low-income families. This study aimed to explore Positive Deviance (PD) behaviors in preventing underweight among the under-five. The study applied a qualitative approach with a case study design. Cognitive impairment is a medical condition commonly found in elderly populations, which can be due to vascular risk factors in patients. There remains limited data on risk factors for cognitive impairment among coastal region populations. This study aimed to investigate risk factors for cognitive impairment in the adult population of Maringkik Island, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Data collected were age, sex, education level, hypertension, antihypertensive treatment, diabetes mellitus, cigarette smoking, and body mass index status. Primary health care (PHC) has one of the largest funding sources, capitation, which BPJS Healthcare Security transfers monthly. Capitation fund receipts were frequently insufficient due to failure to meet performance-based capitation/Kapitasi Berbasis Kinerja (KBK) targets, including for PHC in Malang City, Indonesia. This study aimed to examine the management and utilization of capitation funds through a KBK mechanism. This descriptive study used a qualitative approach supported by quantitative data.
