This qualitative study investigates the impact of physician precepting on medical education and healthcare delivery, prompted by the need for consistency in precepting practices across various institutions and specialties. Physician preceptors, who bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, play a critical role in shaping competent and compassionate healthcare professionals. However, inconsistencies in precepting quality and challenges such as time constraints, inadequate training, and balancing clinical duties with teaching responsibilities necessitate a comprehensive evaluation of precepting's effectiveness.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the United States’ safety net program, Medicaid, for low-income individuals affecting access to care, increasing enrollment, and requiring new approaches to care delivery. The literature shows that beneficiaries’ personal characteristics influence their healthcare experience. This study investigated the association between Medicaid beneficiary characteristics and experience with their Medicaid health plan, examined if COVID-19 negatively impacted experience, and tested if COVID-19 moderated the relationship between beneficiary characteristics and experience.

Objectives: To describe a partnership between CrescentCare and Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Medicine that created a new Sexual Health Clinic in New Orleans, and to assess the health services that patients sought and received at the new clinic in the opening months of its creation. Telemedicine in Indonesia has experienced significant growth since its introduction in 2014. The financing system is regulated independently by each platform, leading to disparities in teleconsultation fees and medical incentives. This qualitative study, which involved a literature review and interviews with 33 participants, offered a health economics perspective on the implementation of telemedicine. The recommended teleconsultation fee ranges from USD 0.05 to USD 2.54, with medical incentives set at USD 1,59-3.18 for general practitioners and USD 4.77-6.36 for specialists, using telephone or video calls as the preferred means of teleconsultation. Improving healthcare service quality required both technical and interpersonal enhancements through a personalized approach, as demonstrated by the “Duta We Care” program at a Central General Hospital in Padang. This study aimed to evaluate the program’s effectiveness by analyzing patient feedback from Google Reviews. A descriptive quantitative design examined 2,035 patient reviews from March 2013 to June 2024. Using NVivo 12 software, the data analysis generated word clouds. The results showed that 68.20% of reviews received a 5-star rating, 9.48% a 4-star rating, 4.35% a 3-star rating, 2.27% a 2-star rating, and 15.70% a 1-star rating. INTRODUCTION: Angioedema has potential for rapid airway decompensation requiring intervention. Patients are often admitted to an ICU for "airway watch." There is a lack of evidence to support which patients require this.

AIM: We aimed to characterize admission patterns and outcomes of angioedema patients at our institution to assess resource utilization and necessity of ICU use. We hypothesized that patients not requiring intubation upon presentation are safe to manage outside the ICU.

The marginalization of intersecting racial, gender, and rural identities compounds the structural vulnerabilities (e.g., discrimination, stigma, health disparities) experienced by Black women in South Carolina’s rural areas. Discriminatory experiences can deteriorate mental health; however, resilience can potentially reduce the ill effects of discrimination by decreasing associated psychological distress. The Philadelphia Communities Conquering Cancer (PC3) coalition conducted listening sessions to identify community priorities for cancer prevention and control research among diverse communities in Philadelphia.

This report proposes an adapted, evidence-informed model for East Baton Rouge Parish that retains the core components of traditional HVIPs while leveraging existing legal, hospital, and social service resources. Health workers at primary health care are the frontline providers of community health services. This study aimed to investigate the level of job satisfaction of health workers at primary health care in Palembang City, South Sumatra Province, Indonesia, and its influencing factors. Using a questionnaire developed by the authors' team, the study involved 257 samples. A total of 66.15% of respondents indicated high satisfaction, 21.79% reported moderate satisfaction, and 12.06% expressed dissatisfaction. A statistically significant correlation was found between knowledge, skills, income, promotion opportunities, work supervision, and relationships with colleagues and job satisfaction (p-value <0.001). The correlations were strong, with Spearman's rho of 0.822, 0.869, 0.912, 0.895, and 0.821, respectively. Statistical analysis of the Wilcoxon rank-sum and Kruskal-Wallis tests showed no significant differences in median satisfaction scores between sociodemographic groups (p-value 0.072 to 0.552>0.05).
