Penelitian ini merupakan analisis komprehensif terhadap literatur, penelitian, dan sumber daya yang terkait dengan ruang Snoezelen, dengan tujuan menyajikan gambaran mengenai manfaat, praktik terbaik, dan potensi aplikasi dari lingkungan multi-sensorik ini. Tinjauan ini mensintesis dan menganalisis secara kritis informasi yang tersedia untuk berkontribusi pada pemahaman dan implementasi ruang Snoezelen bagi individu dengan kebutuhan beragam. Pencarian sistematis basis data elektronik, termasuk PubMed, PsycINFO, dan CINAHL, bersama dengan pencarian manual pada daftar referensi, mengidentifikasi 27 artikel relevan yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Perdarahan Pasca Salin (PPS) merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian ibu secara global dan di Indonesia. Berdasarkan Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) 2017, masalah kesehatan terbesar yang dikhawatirkan oleh para ibu yang dapat membahayakan seorang wanita ketika melahirkan adalah ibu mengalami PPS (28%). Hipertensi masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat dan menjadi faktor penyebab berkembangnya penyakit kardiovaskular. Indonesia memiliki prevalensi hipertensi tertinggi di kawasan Asia Tenggara hipertensi yaitu sebesar 41%. Kota Depok menjadi wilayah dengan prevalensi hipertensi tertinggi yaitu sebesar 22,7%. Oleh karena itu tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor hipertensi pada sopir angkot di terminal Depok. Studi cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 84 angkot yang diwawancara menggunakan kuesioner dan tensimeter yang dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juni 2018. Prevalensi Kehamilan Tidak Diinginkan (KTD) di Indonesia mencapai 10,7% pada tahun 2021. Pada wanita yang sudah menikah, keputusan kesehatan mencakup keputusan tentang kontrasepsi, yang idealnya melibatkan partisipasi perempuan bersama suaminya agar dapat dilakukan secara konsisten sehingga dapat mencegah KTD. Namun, data tahun 2017 menunjukkan proporsi pengambilan keputusan kesehatan perempuan yang dilakukan perempuan bersama suami hanya sebesar 43,7%. Background: The prevalence of chronic disease and disability is expected to increase when age increases. This study aims to investigate the published articles related to disability among older adults living with hypertension in Southeast Asia.

Study Design: A scoping review

Data source: Web of science, Pubmed, CINAHL ,Cochrane and a google search, from 2000 to 2023.

Results: There were six observational studies from Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand met our inclusion criteria. The studies mainly focus on investigating the prevalence, risk factors and sex difference in risk factors associated with disabilities among the older adults.

A high office blood pressure (BP) is associated with cognitive decline. However, evidence of 24-h ambulatory BP monitoring is limited, and no studies have investigated whether longitudinal changes in 24-h BP are associated with cognitive decline. We aimed to test whether higher longitudinal changes in 24-h ambulatory BP measurements are associated with cognitive decline.

There is a known genetic susceptibility to anthracycline-induced cardiac dysfunction in childhood cancer survivors, but this has not been adequately shown in adolescent and young adult (AYA) patients. Our aim was to determine if the previously identified variants associated with cardiac dysfunction in childhood cancer patients affect AYA cancer patients similarly. Forty-five variants were selected for analysis in 253 AYAs previously treated with anthracyclines. We identified four variants that were associated with cardiac dysfunction: SLC10A2:rs7319981 (p = 0.017), SLC22A17:rs4982753 (p = 0.019), HAS3:rs2232228 (p = 0.023), and RARG:rs2229774 (p = 0.050). Well-being initiatives are essential components in fostering an engaged workforce and creating an effective health care ecosystem. Health care professional (HCP) burnout is widespread and has worsened since the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2014, with Health Resources and Services Administration funding support, the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine created an online course for HCP well-being. Single cell transcriptomics has revolutionized our understanding of the cell biology of the human body. State-of-the-art human small intestinal organoid cultures provide ex vivo model systems that bridge the gap between animal models and clinical studies. The application of single cell transcriptomics to human intestinal organoid (HIO) models is revealing previously unrecognized cell biology, biochemistry, and physiology of the GI tract. The advanced single cell transcriptomics platforms use microfluidic partitioning and barcoding to generate cDNA libraries. In a context where homelessness in the United States is a growing concern, we delve into an aspect that has received little attention: how homeless individuals and their pets interact. Through an extensive review of existing research, this paper aims to uncover the demographic characteristics of homeless pet owners and understand the significant effects of this bond. Childhood trauma has been shown to significantly impact physical and mental health outcomes, leading to conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, depression, and difficulties in decision-making and maintaining relationships. Physical distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the lives of older adults. Older adults experiencing dementia and other forms of cognitive decline have impaired executive functioning that made it even more difficult to contend with these disruptions. This brief presents findings from research that used data from the 2021 Health and Retirement Study to examine differences in health care delays and health outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic among a nationally representative sample of U.S. older adults (ages 50+) with versus without cognitive decline. Objective: We aim to determine the effect of region of residence (urban vs. rural) on the odds of receiving standard of care treatment for locally advanced BCa in Louisiana and its impact on survival outcomes. Methods: Using the Louisiana Tumor Registry, we identified American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) stage II or III, BCa diagnoses in Louisiana residents between 2010 and 2020.
