การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบกึ่งทดลองศึกษาแบบสองกลุ่มวัดผลก่อนและหลังการทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมก้าวร้าวของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทก่อนและหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการจัดการอาการร่วมกับการควบคุมความโกรธ และเปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมก้าวร้าวระหว่างกลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการจัดการอาการร่วมกับการควบคุมความโกรธ กับกลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่เข้ารับการรักษาในแผนกผู้ป่วยใน โรงพยาบาลสวนสราญรมย์ จำนวน 50 คน โดยใช้วิธีการเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง เพื่อคัดกรองให้ได้กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ต้องการศึกษาและควบคุมความแปรปรวน แล้วนำมาจับสลากหากลุ่มควบคุมและกลุ่มทดลอง หลังจากนั้นคัดเลือกผู้ป่วยที่มีคุณสมบัติตามเกณฑ์การคัดเข้า และจับคู่ที่มีลักษณะคล้ายคลึงกันในด้านเพศ และ คะแนนทางบวก แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง 25 คน กลุ่มควบคุม 25 คน กลุ่มทดลองได้รับกิจกรรมการจัดการอาการร่วมกับการควบคุมความโกรธ กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ เครื่องมือวิจัยประกอบด้วย โปรแกรมการจัดการอาการร่วมกับการควบคุมความโกรธ แบบบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบประเมินพฤติกรรมก้าวร้าว (KR-20 = .85) แบบวัดการแสดงความโกรธ (α = .81) และแบบประเมินความสามารถในการจัดการกับอาการทางบวก (α = .82) และแบบประเมินอาการทางบวก (α = .83) ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน 5 ท่าน มีค่าความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาเท่ากับ 1 (CVI = 1.00) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติค่าที ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ ดังนี้ 1. ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนพฤติกรรมก้าวร้าวของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทของกลุ่มทดลองภายหลังได้รับการจัดการอาการร่วมกับการควบคุมความโกรธต่ำกว่าก่อนได้รับการจัดการอาการร่วมกับการควบคุมความโกรธ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 2. ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนพฤติกรรมก้าวร้าวของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่เข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการจัดการอาการร่วมกับการควบคุมความโกรธต่ำกว่าผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

This randomized controlled trial with a repeated-measures design aimed to compare changes in primary outcome which is alcohol use comprised of both amount (grams/week) and frequency (days/week), and secondary outcomes which are severity of alcohol-related problems and intention to use alcohol among men aged 35-44 with hazardous alcohol use who residing in the community. A total of 104 participants from a rural district in Vietnam who met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to either an intervention or control group using blocked randomization with stratification based on education levels, 52 participants for each group. การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสมรรถนะพยาบาลในหออภิบาลผู้ป่วยหนักรวมตามบันไดอาชีพ โรงพยาบาลระดับทุติยภูมิ โดยใช้เทคนิคการวิจัยแบบเดลฟาย ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ กลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญจำนวน 23 คน ประกอบด้วยกลุ่มแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการดูแลผู้ป่วยวิกฤต กลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการบริหารหออภิบาลผู้ป่วยหนักรวม กลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการบริหารองค์การพยาบาล กลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านวิชาการ กลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการพยาบาลเฉพาะทางผู้ป่วยวิกฤต และกลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลขั้นสูง วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 3 ขั้นตอนคือ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 สัมภาษณ์เกี่ยวกับสมรรถนะพยาบาลในหออภิบาลผู้ป่วยหนักรวมตามบันไดอาชีพ โรงพยาบาลระดับทุติยภูมิ ขั้นตอนที่ 2 นำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาแล้วนำมาสร้างแบบสอบถามให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญได้แสดงความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับระดับความสำคัญของข้อคำถามในแต่ละข้อ และขั้นตอนที่ 3 นำข้อมูลที่ได้มาคำนวณค่ามัธยฐานและค่าพิสัยระหว่างควอไทล์ แล้วกลับไปให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญยืนยันความคิดเห็นเพื่อสรุปผลการวิจัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สมรรถนะพยาบาลในหออภิบาลผู้ป่วยหนักรวมตามบันไดอาชีพ โรงพยาบาลระดับ ทุติยภูมิ ประกอบด้วย 7 ด้าน ดังนี้ 1) ด้านการพยาบาลผู้ป่วยวิกฤต 2) ด้านการบริหารยาความเสี่ยงสูงที่ใช้ในผู้ป่วยวิกฤต 3) ด้านการสื่อสารและการประสานงานเพื่อการรักษาพยาบาล 4) ด้านการป้องกันและจัดการกับภาวะแทรกซ้อน 5) ด้านการพยาบาลผู้ป่วยวิกฤตระยะสุดท้าย 6) ด้านการใช้อุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และ 7) ด้านการจัดการ และควบคุมคุณภาพการดูแลผู้ป่วย ซึ่งพยาบาลที่ปฏิบัติงานในหออภิบาลผู้ป่วยหนักรวม ประกอบด้วยพยาบาลระดับปฏิบัติการ ชำนาญการ และชำนาญการพิเศษ ที่มีสมรรถนะทั้ง 7 ด้าน แต่รายการสมรรถนะย่อยมีความแตกต่างกันดังนี้ พยาบาลระดับปฏิบัติการ สามารถให้การพยาบาลผู้ป่วยวิกฤตและปฏิบัติงานอื่นๆ ในระดับพื้นฐาน และอยู่ภายใต้การดูแลของพยาบาลที่มีประสบการณ์มากกว่า พยาบาลระดับชำนาญการ สามารถนำความรู้เชิงลึกมาใช้ในการพยาบาลผู้ป่วยวิกฤตที่มีภาวะซับซ้อนและปฏิบัติงานร่วมกับทีมสหสาขาวิชาชีพได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ พยาบาลระดับชำนาญการพิเศษ สามารถนำความรู้เชิงลึกมาใช้ในการพยาบาลผู้ป่วยวิกฤตที่มีภาวะยุ่งยากและซับซ้อน แก้ปัญหาเฉพาะหน้าได้อย่างรวดเร็วและมีประสิทธิภาพ และพัฒนาคุณภาพการพยาบาลจากหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ได้

Background: Although beneficial to patient outcomes, inpatient ambulation is not a prioritized care intervention, and a task often deferred to physical therapy. Patient immobility is a complex problem that requires a multifaceted approach.

Local Problem: In a rural, critical access hospital, on an 18-bed medical surgical unit, nursing staff lacked ownership of patient mobility. Proper management of this comorbidity increases patient safety, satisfaction, and quality care. In 2018, the US Congress enacted a policy permitting Medicare Advantage (MA) plans to cover telehealth services in a beneficiary’s home and through audio-only means as part of the basic benefit package of services, where prior to the policy change such benefits were only allowed to be covered as a supplemental benefit. MA plans were afforded 2 years of lead time for strategizing, negotiating, and capital investment prior to the start date (January 1, 2020) of the new coverage option. Proper management, including appropriate oxygen supplementation, is crucial for optimal patient outcomes. However, discrepancies between current practice and evidence-based guidelines have been identified, highlighting a need for targeted educational interventions.

Background: Childhood immunization rates for children aged 2 years and under at a community health center were assessed and determined to be below optimal levels. Immunizations protect against preventable diseases (Hill, 2023). The project assessed the microsystem to understand low immunization rates and to guide strategies for improvement.

Background: The Operating Room (OR) faces a significant challenge with the increasing presence of bioburdens on instruments. Research-based on evidence has demonstrated the critical role of precleaning at the point of care with sterile water in reducing bioburden incidence. Background: Gaps in communication in the patient handoff process have been directly linked to patient safety errors and unwanted patient outcomes. African American women are at the highest risk for hemorrhaging during childbirth (Okunlola, 2022). A hemorrhage can occur among postpartum mothers for many reasons, with the main causes being uterine atony, tissue trauma, and clotting issues. However, risks for Black mothers differ. The comorbid and social factors within the Black community greatly influence the likelihood of Black mothers experiencing postpartum hemorrhage. The project focuses on how interactions with RNs impact comfort levels of nursing students. These interactions take place within the student nurses’ clinical experiences or their experiences at their healthcare jobs. The sample was sophomore, junior, and senior-level undergraduate BSN students at The University of Akron, which is about 434 students. Introduction: Peri-postmenopausal women with the chronic condition polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) remain at cardiometabolic risk and/or subsist with established comorbidity while continuing to manage persistent PCOS signs and symptoms, such as hirsutism.
