Neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia such as agitation and aggression are common in people living with dementia. The presentation of neuropsychiatric symptoms is influenced by the cultural background of people living with dementia. Further, identifying factors contributing to neuropsychiatric symptoms may be complicated if people living with dementia are immigrants or from non-English-speaking backgrounds. The potential factors influencing medication adherence and how they contribute to health behaviors have not been synthesized to date. This review synthesized qualitative studies that identified factors influencing medication adherence among adults living with diabetes and comorbidity. Recent findings: Twenty-eight findings were extracted and synthesized into four themes: perceived support, lack of knowledge, medication issues, and the importance of routine. Maternal educational attainment (MEA) shapes offspring health through multiple potential pathways. Differential DNA methylation may provide a mechanistic understanding of these long-term associations. We aimed to quantify the associations of MEA with offspring DNA methylation levels at birth, in childhood and in adolescence. Using 37 studies from high-income countries, we performed meta-analysis of epigenome-wide association studies (EWAS) to quantify the associations of completed years of MEA at the time of pregnancy with offspring DNA methylation levels at birth (n = 9 881), in childhood (n = 2 017), and adolescence (n = 2 740), adjusting for relevant covariates. Rationale: Evidence suggests consumption of a Mediterranean diet (MD) can positively impact both maternal and offspring health, potentially mediated by a beneficial effect on inflammatory pathways. We aimed to apply metabolic profiling of serum and urine samples to assess differences between women who were stratified into high and low alignment to a MD throughout pregnancy and investigate the relationship of the diet to inflammatory markers. Midwives in Low- and middle-income countries, experience myriad barriers that have consequences for them and for maternity care. This article provides insight into the consequences of the barriers that Ghanaian midwives face in their workplaces. Glaserian Grounded Theory methodology using semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations was applied in this study. The study participants comprised of 29 midwives and a pharmacist, a social worker, a health services manager, and a National Insurance Scheme manager in Ghana. Learning through simulation requires psychological safety where participants feel comfortable engaging to their fullest extent and can speak up or ask questions without fear of embarrassment to themselves or others. Background: During childbirth, one of the most common diagnoses of pathology is ‘failure to progress,’ frequently resulting in labour augmentation and intervention cascades. However, ‘failure to progress’ is poorly defined and some evidence suggests that plateauing labour (slowing, stalling and pausing of labour processes) may represent a typical and physiological occurrence during normal childbirth. Purpose The objective of this study was to compare the effects of ten commercially available instrument handle designs’ mass and diameter on forearm muscle activity during a simulated periodontal scaling experience.

Methods A convenience sample of 25 registered dental hygienists were recruited for this IRB-approved study. Ten commercially available instruments were categorized into four groups based on their masses and diameters: large diameter/light mass, small diameter/light mass, large diameter/heavy mass, and small diameter/heavy mass. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณภาพชีวิตด้านสุขภาพและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง อายุ เพศ โรคร่วม ดัชนีมวลกาย อาการและสภาวะการทำหน้าที่กับคุณภาพชีวิตด้านสุขภาพของผู้ติดเชื้อโควิด-19 หลังจำหน่ายออกจากระบบ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ติดเชื้อโควิด-19 ที่เคยเข้ารับการรักษาในระบบบริการทั้งภายในและภายนอกโรงพยาบาลภายใต้การดูแลของโรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี จำนวน 113 คน คัดเลือกแบบเจาะจงตามคุณสมบัติที่กำหนด เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบประเมินอาการ แบบประเมินสภาวะการทำหน้าที่ และแบบประเมินคุณภาพชีวิตด้านสุขภาพ ตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 5 ท่านและตรวจสอบความเที่ยงได้ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคเท่ากับ .83, .83, และ .81 ตามลำดับ สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ สถิติเชิงพรรณนา สถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์อีต้าและสถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ คือ 1. กลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้ติดเชื้อโควิด-19 หลังจำหน่ายออกจากระบบ มีคุณภาพชีวิตด้านสุขภาพโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 23.38 และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 3.55 2. สภาวะการทำหน้าที่มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับต่ำกับคุณภาพชีวิตด้านสุขภาพของกลุ่มตัวอย่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (r = .257) 3. อาการมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบในระดับต่ำกับคุณภาพชีวิตด้านสุขภาพของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยอาการที่มีความสัมพันธ์ ได้แก่ อาการเจ็บหน้าอก/ใจสั่น อาการมึนงง/คิดไม่ออก อาการอ่อนเพลีย/เหนื่อยล้า อาการนอนไม่หลับ อาการปวดศีรษะ/เวียนศีรษะ อาการหายใจลำบาก/หอบเหนื่อย อาการปวดเจ็บในข้อ และปัญหาด้านอารมณ์ (r = -.363, -.295, -.292, -.281, -.250, -.247, -.229 และ -.198) ตามลำดับ 4. อายุ เพศ โรคร่วมและดัชนีมวลกายไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพชีวิตด้านสุขภาพของผู้ติดเชื้อโควิด-19 หลังจำหน่ายออกจากระบบ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาความสัมพันธ์เชิงทำนายเพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยทำนายภาวะซึมเศร้าในบุคคลภายหลังผ่าตัดทำทางเบี่ยงหลอดเลือดหัวใจ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ บุคคลภายหลังผ่าตัดทำทางเบี่ยงหลอดเลือดหัวใจ ที่มารับบริการที่แผนกผู้ป่วยนอกศัลยกรรมทรวงอก โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย และโรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี รวมทั้งสิ้น จำนวน 272 คน คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีการสุ่มแบบเจาะจงตามเกณฑ์การคัดเข้า เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามทั้งหมด 7 ส่วน คือ 1) แบบบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล 2) แบบสอบถามภาวะซึมเศร้า 3) แบบสอบถามการสนับสนุนทางสังคม 4) แบบสอบถามความวิตกกังวล 5) แบบสอบถามความหวัง 6 ) แบบสอบถามการมองโลกในแง่ดี 7) แบบสอบถามการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับความเจ็บป่วย ผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 5 ท่าน ได้ ค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาเท่ากับ 0.95, 1, 0.97, 0.88, 0.96 และ 0.98 ตามลำดับ และผ่านการตรวจสอบความเที่ยงของ เครื่องมือเท่ากับ 0.74, 0.73, 0.81, 0.74, 0.72 และ 0.79 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยคำนวณสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์พหุคูณ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1. บุคคลภายหลังผ่าตัดทำทางเบี่ยงหลอดเลือดหัวใจส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีภาวะซึมเศร้า คิดเป็นร้อยละ 93.75 มีภาวะซึมเศร้าระดับเล็กน้อยถึงปานกลาง คิดเป็นร้อยละ 6.25 และบุคคลภายหลังผ่าตัดทำทางเบี่ยงหลอดเลือดหัวใจส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีภาวะซึมเศร้า ( Mean = 64.99, SD= 13.11) 2. ปัจจัยทำนายภาวะซึมเศร้าในบุคคลภายหลังผ่าตัดทำทางเบี่ยงหลอดเลือดหัวใจประกอบด้วย 4 ตัวแปร ได้แก่ การมองโลกในแง่ดี (Beta = .203) การรับรู้เกี่ยวกับความเจ็บป่วย (Beta = -.143) การสนับสนุนทางสังคม (Beta = -.117) ความวิตกกังวล (Beta = .311) เป็นปัจจัยที่สามารถทำนายภาวะซึมเศร้าในบุคคลภายหลังผ่าตัดทำทางเบี่ยงหลอดเลือดหัวใจได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 38.1 (Adjusted R2 = .381, p

การวิจัยแบบกึ่งทดลองนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมส่งเสริมความแข็งแรงของกล้ามเนื้อต่อความสามารถในการทำกิจกรรมของผู้ป่วยหลังผ่าตัดสะโพก กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ป่วยหลังผ่าตัดสะโพก อายุ 30 – 84 ปี ผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการวินิจฉัยจากแพทย์ศัลยกรรมออร์โธปิดิกส์ ว่าเป็นกระดูกสะโพกหัก ได้รับการผ่าตัดสะโพก และเข้าพักรักษาตัวในหอผู้ป่วยศัลยกรรมออร์โธปิดิกส์ โรงพยาบาลเลิดสิน คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างตามคุณสมบัติ โดยการเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง จับคู่กลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยตัวแปร อายุ ระดับการศึกษา และความปวด แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มควบคุมและกลุ่มทดลองกลุ่มละ 22 คน กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ และกลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมส่งเสริมความแข็งแรงของกล้ามเนื้อต่อความสามารถในการทำกิจกรรมของผู้ป่วยหลังผ่าตัดสะโพก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบประเมินความสามารถในการทำกิจกรรม ประเมินโดยใช้แบบบันทึกระยะทางที่ผู้ป่วยเดินได้บนพื้นราบภายในเวลา 6 นาที (Six-minute walk test) โปรแกรมส่งเสริมความแข็งแรงของกล้ามเนื้อ ตารางบันทึกการส่งเสริมความแข็งแรงของกล้ามเนื้อเป็นเครื่องมือกำกับการทดลอง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา สถิติการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบวัดซ้ำ และสถิติทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ผู้ป่วยหลังผ่าตัดสะโพกภายหลังได้รับโปรแกรมส่งเสริมความแข็งแรงของกล้ามเนื้อมีความสามารถในการทำกิจกรรมสูงกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมความแข็งแรงของกล้ามเนื้อในระยะก่อนจำหน่าย สัปดาห์ที่ 2 และสัปดาห์ที่ 6 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 2. ผู้ป่วยหลังผ่าตัดสะโพกที่ได้รับโปรแกรมส่งเสริมความของแรงของกล้ามเนื้อมีความสามารถในการทำกิจกรรมสูงกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติในระยะก่อนจำหน่าย สัปดาห์ที่ 2 และสัปดาห์ที่ 6 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

การศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพแบบบรรยายครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์การดูแลบุตรของผู้ดูแลที่มีบุตรติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 คัดเลือกผู้ให้ข้อมูลแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง คือ ผู้ดูแลซึ่งเป็นมารดาของผู้ป่วยเด็กวัยเรียนที่ติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 ร่วมกับมีภาวะปอดอักเสบระดับปานกลางหรือรุนแรง เข้ารับการรักษาในห้องแยก เก็บข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก จนข้อมูลอิ่มตัวด้วยจำนวนผู้ให้ข้อมูล 7 ราย นำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเกิดเป็นประเด็นหลัก 3 ประเด็น คือ 1) ดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิด และเป็นคนทำทุกอย่าง 2) ความยากและลำบาก และ 3) ความรู้สึกขณะที่อยู่กับบุตรตลอดเวลาออกจากห้องแยกไม่ได้ ผลการศึกษาก่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจที่ชัดเจนมากยิ่งขึ้นเกี่ยวกับประสบการณ์การดูแลบุตรในห้องแยกของผู้ดูแลที่มีบุตรติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 และสามารถนำข้อมูลการวิจัยนี้ไปใช้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานในการดูแลผู้ป่วยเด็กได้อย่างเหมาะสม และตรงตามความต้องการของผู้ป่วยและผู้ดูแลอย่างแท้จริง รวมถึงเป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้นสำหรับการจัดการองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการดูแลผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคอุบัติใหม่ที่ต้องได้รับการรักษาภายในห้องแยก

การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบบรรยายนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการบรรยายประสบการณ์การดูแลสุขภาพตนเองของวัยรุ่นที่มีอาการหลงเหลือหลังติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ วัยรุ่น ที่ได้รับทราบจากแพทย์ว่าเป็นผู้มีอาการหลงเหลือจากการติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 และไม่มีโรคประจำตัวอื่น ๆ ใน โรงพยาบาลของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี เก็บข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกไปพร้อมกับวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลแบบแก่นสาระ จนเกิดความอิ่มตัวของข้อมูล รวมผู้ให้ข้อมูลทั้งสิ้น 7 ราย ผลการศึกษาพบข้อสรุปดังนี้ 1) ชีวิตที่ต้องเผชิญกับผลพวงของโควิด-19 ประกอบด้วยประเด็นย่อย ได้แก่ 1.1 การเปลี่ยนแปลงในชีวิต และ 1.2 ผลกระทบต่อความรู้สึกทางอารมณ์และจิตใจ 2) การค้นหาวิธีจัดการกับอาการเรื้อรัง ประกอบด้วยประเด็นย่อย ได้แก่ 2.1. การแสวงหาวิธีการดูแลสุขภาพ และ 2.2. การดูแลอาการที่เกิดขึ้นด้วยตนเอง ข้อสรุปนี้ช่วยให้พยาบาลเด็กเข้าใจถึงประสบการณ์และความท้าทายที่วัยรุ่นกลุ่มนี้ต้องเผชิญ และสามารถนำข้อมูลนี้ไปใช้ในการให้คำปรึกษาและสนับสนุนทางอารมณ์แก่วัยรุ่นและครอบครัวที่ต้องเผชิญกับอาการหลงเหลือหลังติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 การให้คำแนะนำวิธีการดูแลสุขภาพและเทคนิคการจัดการอาการเรื้อรังที่เหมาะสมกับแต่ละบุคคล รวมทั้งการพัฒนาแนวทางการดูแลสุขภาพที่เน้นการปรับตัวและการรับมือกับอาการหลงเหลือหลังติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 เพื่อให้วัยรุ่นกลุ่มนี้มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบสองกลุ่มวัดผลก่อนและหลังการทดลองเพื่อเปรียบเทียบการทำหน้าที่ทางสังคมของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทก่อนและหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตนแบบบูรณาการ และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบการทำหน้าที่ทางสังคมของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทกลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตนแบบบูรณาการกับกลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลปกติ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ป่วยจิตเภท จำนวน 40 คน ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติตามเกณฑ์ที่เข้ารับการรักษาแบบผู้ป่วยในโรงพยาบาลสวนสราญรมย์ ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติตามเกณฑ์โดยได้รับการจับคู่ให้มีความใกล้เคียงกันด้านเพศ และระยะเวลาการเจ็บป่วย จากนั้นสุ่มเข้ากลุ่มทดลอง 20 คน และกลุ่มควบคุม 20 คนเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทดลองคือ โปรแกรมการรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตนแบบบูรณาการ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 4 ขั้นตอน คือ 1) การกระตุ้นทางอารมณ์ 2) การใช้ตัวแบบ 3) ประสบการณ์ความสำเร็จ 4) การใช้คำพูดชักจูง เครื่องมือที่ใช้การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบบันทึกข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทและแบบประเมินการทำหน้าที่ทางสังคม เครื่องมือทุกชุดผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน 5 คน แบบประเมินทักษะการทำหน้าที่ทางสังคมมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟาของ ครอนบาคเท่ากับ 0.93 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบที ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. การทำหน้าที่ทางสังคมของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทหลังเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตนแบบบูรณาการสูงกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมฯ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 2. การทำหน้าที่ทางสังคมของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่เข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตนแบบบูรณาการสูงกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง ศึกษาสองกลุ่มแบบวัดก่อนและหลังการทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมสุขภาพโดยใช้สมาร์ทโฟนแอปพลิเคชันไลน์ต่อพฤติกรรมป้องกันอาการกำเริบของโรคจมูกอักเสบภูมิแพ้ของผู้ดูแลเด็กวัยเรียนโรคจมูกอักเสบภูมิแพ้ อายุ 6-12 ปี ที่เข้ารับบริการที่คลินิกโรคภูมิแพ้ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย จำนวน 60 คน แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมกลุ่มละ 30 คน กลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมสุขภาพโดยใช้สมาร์ทโฟนแอปพลิเคชันไลน์ที่ออกแบบโดยใช้แนวคิดของเพนเดอร์ (2001) ส่วนกลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ กำกับการทดลองด้วยแบบสอบถามการรับรู้ประโยชน์ รับรู้อุปสรรค และรับรู้ความสามารถของตนต่อการปฏิบัติพฤติกรรม ประเมินพฤติกรรมป้องกันอาการกำเริบของโรคจมูกอักเสบภูมิแพ้ด้วยแบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมป้องกันอาการกำเริบของโรคจมูกอักเสบภูมิแพ้ เครื่องมือทุกฉบับมีค่าความตรงตามเนื้อหาและค่าความเที่ยงที่ยอมรับได้ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติทดสอบที (t-test) ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ผู้ดูแลเด็กโรคจมูกอักเสบภูมิแพ้กลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมสุขภาพโดยใช้สมาร์ทโฟนแอปพลิเคชันไลน์ มีพฤติกรรมป้องกันอาการกำเริบของโรคสูงกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมฯ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t= 7.68, p< .05) และผู้ดูแลเด็กโรคจมูกอักเสบภูมิแพ้กลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมสุขภาพโดยใช้สมาร์ทโฟนแอปพลิเคชันไลน์ มีพฤติกรรมป้องกันอาการกำเริบของโรคจมูกอักเสบภูมิแพ้สูงกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t= -4.25, p< .05)

This correlational study aimed to 1) describe health promoting behaviors among Myanmar migrants and 2) examine direct and indirect paths of relationships among acculturation, perceived stress, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, perceived self-efficacy, perceived social support and health promoting behaviors of Myanmar migrants in Thailand.
