This study examined: (i) the spatial patterns in the demand for family planning to limit childbearing and satisfied with modern methods, and (ii) the correlates of the demand for family planning to limit childbearing satisfied with modern methods in SSA.

The chemical structure of DNA, RNA, telomeres, and mitochondria and their principal components are reviewed based on the type of chemical bonds and interactions between those components. This study also briefly outlines the types of chromosomes and genes in the cells of some living species, including humans. An approach regarding the polymeric nature of DNA is introduced, including the number of units or molecules in the polymer based on the unit cell dimensions of crystalline DNA material. Furthermore, the mechanism of protein synthesis inside the living cell, including the role of DNA and RNA in this process, is discussed.

Vitamin D deficiency is a global health problem. With all the medicall advances of the century, vitamin D deficiency is still prevailing. Over a billion people worldwide are Vitamin D deficient or insufficient. In this study data collected from 58 outpatients Clinic from Bagdad citw/Iraq, suffering from Vitamin D deficiency at different rate. They were either suffer from Vitamin D deficiency (10-19) ng/ml, insufficient (20-29) ng/ml or some sutfer with sever deficiency< 10ng/ml. This study covered random samples of different gender (male and female) and from different life style, which include different symptoms (bone and back pain, tiredness, hair loss and mood improving). Results showed that women were more accessible than men for Vitamin D deficiency due to woman loss more Vitamin Dthrough menopause, pregnancy and lactation period and results showed that patients with age (40 to 59) year old and (60 to 69) year old were suffering from bone and back bone pain, were 25% of the sample study were suffering from hair loss. Most people covered in this study were felling tiredness and headache. Inthisstudy samplescollected from patients with Vitamin D deficiencies were treated by giving dosages of supplement medicine (like Cholecalciferoll and Colecaliciferol) to optimize level of 25-OH Vitamin D3. To increase Vitamin D rate in these patients. Results also showed that the supplement medicine help and improve reducing hair loss, bone and back pain within two months of taken it, were 25% of the sample study suffering from felling tiredness and headache which they start to recovered their health gradually after taken medication within first and second month of treatment. In relation to depression, it was concluded that depression was associated with low Vitamin D level in patients' especially old peoples and from the results, medical supplement found to be improves mood and reduce depression in a sample of people study especially in women.

Chronic illness (CI) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality for Indigenous people. In Montana, Indigenous communities disproportionately experience CI, a legacy of settler colonialism. For over two decades, Messengers for Health, an Apsáalooke (Crow Indian) non-profit, and Montana State University have partnered to improve community health using a community-based participatory research (CBPR) approach. It is unknown how congruent appraisal of dyadic HF care type is associated with dyadic health. Our aim was to examine how congruence in and satisfaction with appraisal of dyadic HF care type contribute to quality of life (QOL) for dyads. METHODS AND RESULTS: This is a secondary analysis of cross-sectional data on 275 HF care dyads (patients 45.1% female, caregivers 70.5% female). The World Health Organization adopted the Global Strategy on Human Resources for Health Workforce 2030 in May 2016. It sets specific milestones for improving health workforce planning in member countries, such as developing a health workforce registry by 2020 and ensuring workforce self-sufficiency by halving dependency on foreign-trained health professionals. Background

We examined the inequalities in the prevalence of full immunization coverage among one-year-olds in Ghana using nationally representative data from the 1993-2014 Ghana Demographic and Health Surveys (GDHSs).

Methods

Using the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Health Equity Assessment Toolkit (HEAT) software, data from the 1993–2014 GDHSs were analyzed. We disaggregated full immunization by five equity stratifiers: wealth quintile, education, sex, residence, and region. Second, we measured the inequality through summary measures, namely Difference, Population Attributable Risk, Ratio, and Population Attributable Fraction. Statistical significance was pegged at 95% Uncertainty Interval.

Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) is a debilitating chronic illness that involves a sustained tachycardia upon standing and affects millions of patients in the United States alone. POTS is most commonly seen in adolescent females and substantially reduces overall quality of life. In 2019, less than a third of all providers had heard of POTS and patients may wait over a decade for a proper diagnosis and treatment. This study examines hazing among a sample of young male service members in the United States (US) military. Individual semi-structured interviews were conducted with active duty service members (N = 10) aged 18 to 24 at a large Southeastern US Army post to examine their conceptualization of hazing. Thematic analysis revealed three emergent themes: (1) the definition of hazing and hazing behaviors; (2) the ritualistic nature of hazing; and (3) the sexual nature of hazing. Nurse managers experience high levels of stress due to the complex bureaucratic and chaotic nature of the job, which can lead to burnout. In nurse managers, burnout negatively impacts the ability to meet the strategic goals of the quadruple aim: patient quality, patient satisfaction, cost savings, and employee well-being. Strategies to address burnout include minimizing or removing unnecessary causes of stress and provide the skills to protect against burnout. Resilience is a competency nurse leaders must have to withstand overwhelming job-related stress. Resilience-enhancing strategies have psychobiologic underpinnings and can be easily incorporated into nurse managers’ work schedules.

Background & Purpose: To report on the psychometric properties of the Acute Coronary Syndrome Response Index in adults without heart disease. Methods: Participants were enrolled online, using social media platforms and an email listserv. The sample of 1,040 was randomly split into two sub-samples for exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Results: Exploratory factor analysis yielded a four-factor solution for the knowledge subscale, a one-factor solution for the attitudes subscale, and a two-factor solution for the belief subscale. Subsequent confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated an excellent fit for the attitudes and beliefs subscales and an acceptable fit for the knowledge subscale. Conclusions: …
