Urinary incontinence (UI) is a medical condition that plagues millions of women worldwide, negatively affecting their quality of life. Background: There is a rising prominence of infants being born and diagnosed with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) in the United States. In recent years, a new non-pharmacological method of managing these infants called Eat, Sleep, Console (ESC) has emerged. While there is mounting evidence demonstrating the positive outcomes for infants treated with this method, there is limited research regarding nurses’ perceptions of this new intervention. Objectives: To determine the cause of stillbirth after application of relevant condition at death (ReCoDe) classification system.
Methods: This was a retrospective cross sectional study of 207 women diagnosed with stillbirth after 24 completed weeks of pregnancy at the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), Karachi between 1st January 2015 and 31st December 2019. The primary objective was to find the cause of stillbirth according to the new classification of relevant condition at death (ReCoDe).

Breast and cervical cancer are among the leading causes of cancer-related deaths globally. In Kenya, delayed presentation and diagnosis contribute to breast and cervical cancer mortality. The Kenyan government acknowledges the cancer burden with estimated 39,000 new cases diagnosed and 27,000 deaths per annum. Mortality can be reduced if cancer is diagnosed early and with appropriate treatment. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, while telehealth was not new, it was not widely utilized at the project site location, and a uniform method of evaluating its effectiveness was needed. Currently, there is no training program in place for the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) preceptors at a large academic medical center in West Virginia. Extreme preterm birth is the most critical risk factor, which leads to adverse effects on medical and developmental outcomes. We report a case of an extremely preterm infant admitted to NICU and had a prolonged period of non-invasive ventilation. The neonate had hepatosplenomegaly and antibiotic, antifungal, and antiviral treatment. She was recovered and shown significant improvement in her health status and growth and development were assessed until five years of corrected age.

A staff education project was created in a tribal health system of primary care clinics to improve advance care planning (ACP) conversations between care providers and Native American tribal patients. ACP conversations and advance directive documentation occurrences were found to be low or negligible in the project site despite primary care clinics being an ideal place to start these conversations. Background: Persons with severe mental illness (MI) are at a high risk of becoming victims of sexual assault (SA). Vulnerability for SA with any type of MI is unknown. This study aimed to identify the prevalence of preexisting MI and other significant factors in patients reporting preexisting MI at the time of their SA medical forensic examinations (SAMFEs).

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมความมีคุณค่าในตนเองในการปฏิบัติบทบาทการเป็นมารดาต่อการเกิดภาวะซึมเศร้าหลังคลอดในมารดาวัยรุ่น
แบบแผนการวิจัย: การวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง วัดก่อนและหลังการทดลองโดยมีกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ
วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย: กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ มารดาวัยรุ่นอายุ 15-19 ปี ที่มารับบริการฝากครรภ์และคลอดบุตรที่โรงพยาบาลชุมชนเพื่อรับส่งต่อผู้ป่วย ในจังหวัดชลบุรี จำนวน 50 คน สุ่มเข้ากลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มละ 25 คน กลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมความมีคุณค่าในตนเองในการปฏิบัติบทบาทการเป็นมารดาในระยะตั้งครรภ์ 32-40 สัปดาห์ จนถึง 4-6 สัปดาห์หลังคลอด กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบประเมิน 4 ชุด ดังนี้ 1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไป 2) แบบวัดภาวะซึมเศร้า CES-D 3) แบบวัดความรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเอง 4) แบบวัดความสำเร็จในการปฏิบัติบทบาทการเป็นมารดา โดยแบบประเมินชุดที่ 2,3 และ 4 มีค่าความเที่ยงสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟ่าครอนบาค เท่ากับ .807, .870 และ .949 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทั่วไปโดยใช้สถิติบรรยาย และทดสอบค่าเฉลี่ยโดยใช้สถิติทดสอบที

โรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 (Coronavirus disease 2019 หรือ COVID-19) เป็นโรคติดเชื้อ ที่มีการแพร่ระบาดอยู่ในปัจจุบัน ทั่วโลกพบอุบัติการณ์การติดเชื้อและมีผู้เสียชีวิตจำนวนมาก เนื่องจากในระยะแรกผู้ติดเชื้อไม่แสดงอาการชัดเจนจึงไม่มารักษาที่โรงพยาบาล ทำให้มีการแพร่กระจายเชื้อได้ง่ายส่งผลให้อัตราการเสียชีวิตของผู้ป่วยเพิ่มมากขึ้น ดังนั้น พยาบาลซึ่งเป็นด่านหน้าในการดูแลผู้ป่วยควรมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการคัดกรองโรค อาการแสดง การแพร่กระจายเชื้อ และบทบาทพยาบาลในระบบการแพทย์ทางไกล โดยใช้กระบวนการพยาบาลนำความรู้ภาคทฤษฎีและทักษะการพยาบาลมาประยุกต์ใช้ในสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดทั้งการเตรียมพร้อม การตอบสนอง และการปรับปรุงฟื้นฟูซ่อมแซม เพื่อประเมินอาการและช่วยป้องกันการแพร่กระจายเชื้อไปยังผู้รับบริการท่านอื่นและเจ้าหน้าที่ได้

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรู้ ทัศนคติ การจัดการปัญหาการดูแลผู้ป่วยกับพฤติกรรมการดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูง
รูปแบบการวิจัย: การวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี
วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย: ประชากรเชิงปริมาณ คือ เครือข่ายสุขภาพชุมชนทั้งหมด จำนวน 209 ราย และผู้ให้ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ คือ การสนทนากลุ่มเครือข่ายสุขภาพชุมชนที่ผ่านการตอบแบบสอบถาม จำนวน 10 ราย โดยการสุ่มแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบทดสอบความรู้และแบบสอบถาม มีค่าความเชื่อมั่น ระหว่าง 0.87-0.90 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน และการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา
ผลการวิจัย: 1) การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ พบว่า ความรู้ และทัศนคติ มีความสัมพันธ์ระดับต่ำ และการจัดการปัญหาการดูแลผู้ป่วยมีความสัมพันธ์ระดับสูง กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 และ 2) การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ พบว่า เครือข่ายสุขภาพชุมชน มีความรู้ ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับโรคความดันโลหิตสูง แนวทางการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ การป้องกันภาวะแทรกซ้อน มีทัศนคติ ที่ดีในการดูแลผู้ป่วย มีทักษะการดูแลสุขภาพและการปฐมพยาบาลภาวะฉุกเฉินเบื้องต้น การติดต่อ ประสานงาน การมีส่วนร่วมออกแบบกิจกรรมดูแลสุขภาพ และการติดตามเยี่ยมบ้าน

สรุป: ความรู้ ทัศนคติ การจัดการปัญหาการดูแลผู้ป่วย มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับพฤติกรรมการดูแลผู้ป่วย ดังนั้นพื้นที่ควรพัฒนารูปแบบการดูแลผู้ป่วยเน้นการมีส่วนร่วมเชิงประจักษ์

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการให้ความรู้ต่อพฤติกรรมการป้องกันภาวะไตเสื่อมของแม่บ้าน ทำความสะอาด มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี
รูปแบบการวิจัย: การวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง
วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย: กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ แม่บ้านทำความสะอาด มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี จำนวน 60 ราย จัดกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยการจับคู่พิจารณาจากอายุและการมีโรคประจำตัว แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มควบคุม 30 ราย ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ และกลุ่มทดลอง 30 ราย ได้รับโปรแกรมการให้ความรู้ ประกอบด้วย การให้ความรู้เรื่องโรคไตเรื้อรัง โมเดลไตจำลองป้องกันไตเสื่อม และคู่มือการดูแลตนเอง เพื่อป้องกันไตเสื่อม เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้ แบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมการป้องกันภาวะไตเสื่อม โดยผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 3 ท่าน มีค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาเท่ากับ .90 และค่าความเที่ยงสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคเท่ากับ .84 วิเคราะห์ ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติบรรยาย และทดสอบค่าเฉลี่ยโดยใช้สถิติทดสอบที
ผลการศึกษา: คะแนนเฉลี่ยพฤติกรรมการป้องกันภาวะไตเสื่อมในกลุ่มทดลองที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการให้ความรู้สูงกว่า ก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<.05) และพบว่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยพฤติกรรมการป้องกันภาวะไตเสื่อม ในกลุ่มทดลองที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการให้ความรู้สูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p< .05)
สรุป: โปรแกรมการให้ความรู้ช่วยส่งเสริมให้แม่บ้านทำความสะอาด มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี มีพฤติกรรมการป้องกันภาวะไตเสื่อมที่ดีขึ้น ควรนำโปรแกรมนี้ไปเผยแพร่กับบุคลากรกลุ่มอื่น และศึกษาวิจัยในบุคคลที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดโรคไตเรื้อรังต่อไป

วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย: การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณกึ่งทดลอง จำนวน 30 คน และผู้ให้ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ คือ เกษตรกรที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมโปรแกรม จำนวน 17 คน  เครื่องมือการวิจัย ได้แก่ โปรแกรมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพ แบบสอบถามความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพ และชุดตรวจเลือดโคลีนเอสเตอเรส มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นระหว่าง 0.82-0.96 การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน Pair t-test และการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา

ผลการศึกษา: เกษตรกรมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพ พฤติกรรมป้องกันสารเคมีกำจัดศัตรูพืช และค่าเฉลี่ยโคลีนเอสเตอเรสในเลือดดีกว่าก่อนการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ 0.01 โดยพบว่า เกษตรกรมีความรู้ สามารถค้นหา สอบถามผู้รู้ผ่านระบบออนไลน์  จัดการปัญหาและอุปสรรค เข้าถึงข้อมูลและบริการสุขภาพ และมีพฤติกรรมป้องกันสารเคมีกำจัดศัตรูพืชที่ถูกต้องและเหมาะสม ส่งผลให้ระดับเอนไซม์โคลีนเอสเตอเรสในเลือดลดลง

สรุป:  ผลของโปรแกรมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพลดระดับเอนไซม์โคลีนเอสเตอเรสในเลือด ดังนั้น ควรนำโปรแกรมไปประยุกต์ใช้กับเกษตรกรเพื่อลดหรือชะลอการเกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อน

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาแบบแผนความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างแบบแผนความเชื่อ ด้านสุขภาพกับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพของสตรีวัยรุ่นตั้งครรภ์แรก

รูปแบบการวิจัย:  การวิจัยผสานวิธี

วิธีดำเนินการ: กลุ่มตัวอย่างเชิงปริมาณ คือ สตรีวัยรุ่นตั้งครรภ์แรกจำนวน 124 คน โดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง  ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ คือ สตรีวัยรุ่นตั้งครรภ์แรก 12 คนที่ผ่านการตอบแบบสอบถาม โดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก สุ่มแบบลูกโซ่ และการสนทนากลุ่ม 10 คน เลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามการรับรู้ความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพ และแบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ค่าความเชื่อมั่นระหว่าง 0.79-0.90 ตามลำดับ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน และการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัย:  1) การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ  พบว่า การรับรู้ความเสี่ยงและความรุนแรง การรับรู้ประโยชน์ และการรับรู้ความสามารถ มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ  ที่ระดับ 0.01, 2) การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ พบว่า สตรีวัยรุ่นตั้งครรภ์มีการรับรู้ความเสี่ยงและความรุนแรง จากพฤติกรรมสุขภาพไม่เหมาะสม การรับรู้ประโยชน์ จากพฤติกรรมการบริโภคอาหารที่ถูกต้อง  การดูแลตนเอง   การติดตามนัดหมาย การรับรู้ความสามารถ จากการเห็นคุณค่าตนเอง การดูแลตนเอง และการแก้ไขปัญหาสุขภาพ

สรุป: ความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพมีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ดังนั้น บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ควรพัฒนาโปรแกรมการดูแลตนเองของสตรีวัยรุ่นตั้งครรภ์แรก
