We chose to research the effect of wound care given using clean technique compared to sterile technique. According to the US Center for Disease Control, nearly 1.7 million patients suffer from hospital-acquired infections and more than 98,000 of these patients die every year (Haque, et al., 2018). Due to this frightening statistic, we wanted to further understand and discover if using a certain technique when caring for wounds plays a major role in preventing complications, such as infections. We will be evaluating and comparing different types of nursing handoff reports, such as verbal versus bedside. We researched different research articles and studies that compared bedside handoff reports to verbal handoff reports. These studies analyzed the effect on patients, such as safety and satisfaction, from the type of handoff report. In our research, we compared the advantages and disadvantages of verbal and bedside reports and found strategies to improve handover reports. From this information it was concluded that the bedside report is more effective than a verbal report for the patient and nurse.

The pharmaceutical company Mylan first came into existence in 1961, distributing medical and health products to medical professionals with the goal of providing access to affordable medicine. Epipens now-a-days can cost anywhere from $650-$700, while alternatives like Symjepi cost around $200, Adrenaclick is about $500 and Auvi- Q is around $5,000 for a twin pack but can be free with insurance . In Vietnam, the overall prevalence of hypertension (HTN) was 21%, with lower estimates for the prevalence of HTN awareness and treatment. Peripartum deaths remain significantly high in low- and middle-income countries, including Kenya. The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted essential services, which could lead to an increase in maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity. Furthermore, the lockdowns, curfews, and increased risk for contracting COVID-19 may affect how women access health facilities. SARS-CoV-2 is a novel coronavirus that requires a community-centred response, not just hospital-based interventions. Purpose: This study examined health care providers' perceptions of the usefulness and ease of use of a symptom heuristics app delivered via a tablet computer as a resource for understanding symptom experiences of adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer. AYAs' app-generated symptom reports were compared with providers' documentation of AYAs' symptoms.

Methods: This multisite study included responses from 86 AYAs 15–29 years of age who completed the Computerized Symptom Capture Tool (C-SCAT) before two scheduled visits for chemotherapy. Academic misconduct is a growing national and global concern. There is a paucity of literature on academic misconduct in nursing. Utilizing the qualitative method of narrative inquiry, this study gives voice to students’ stories of academic misconduct and reveals intimate stories of their experience. The stories contribute to a deeper understanding of associate degree nursing students' experiences with academic misconduct. The findings of the study have implications for future research, nursing education, and practice.

The purpose of this integrative review is to review, critique, and synthesize the current literature to determine the state of the science related to the established systems approach for improving healthcare management and care coordination of the oncology patient population in rural and remote regions.
