BACKGROUND: Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) adoption is an important strategy to help improve primary care quality within Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) community health centers (CHC), but evidence of its effect thus far remains mixed. A limitation of previous evaluations has been the inability to account for the proportion of CHC delivery sites that are designated medical homes.

METHODS: Retrospective cross-sectional study using HRSA Uniform Data System (UDS) and certification files from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the Joint Commission (JC). Background: In Pakistan there is a dire need to explore the quality of life in infertile males and females and its undesirable psychological outcomes. This, study aimed to compare the quality of life (QoL) of males and females visiting an infertility centre for treatment and to assess its association with resilience, depression, and other socio-demographic factors.
Methods: An Analytical Cross-Sectional study was conducted amongst infertile males and females at the Australian Concept Infertility Medical Centre (ACIMC), Karachi, Pakistan. Recent social media trends have demonstrated increased interest in dancing during the final weeks of pregnancy and labor. However, there is limited evidence about dancing during labor and its impact on labor pain and duration as well as patient satisfaction. Before conducting a prospective study, given that enrollment is often challenging, our feasibility study aimed to assess the willingness of pregnant women to participate in a future study evaluating low-impact dance during labor. Purpose: The purposes of this study were to determine whether the presence of upper extremity chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) symptoms (burning, pins/needles, numbness, pain, and skin crawls) among breast cancer survivors (BCS) varied according to age (≤45 years or 55–70 years) and to examine age group differences in upper extremity CIPN symptom distress.

Diabetes is a recognized risk factor for postoperative infection, acute renal failure, ileus, and a lengthy hospital stay. Optimal screening, management, and scheduling of elective surgery for diabetic patients have been shown to improve quality care, decrease complications, increase the efficiency, and lower the costs of preoperative patient care. However, surgery cancellations are common due to inadequate preoperative glycemic control and poor intraoperative glycemic control, which are recognized risk factors for perioperative or postoperative complications.
