วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อศึกษาตัวชี้วัดผลลัพธ์การพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรมรายด้าน, เพื่อศึกษาตัวชี้วัดย่อยในแต่ละด้านของตัวชี้วัดผลลัพธ์การพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรม\n\nแบบแผนการวิจัย : วิจัยเชิงพรรณนา โดยใช้เดลฟายเทคนิค\n\nวิธีดําเนินการวิจัย : ประกอบด้วย 3 ขั้นตอน คือ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 18 คนได้แก่ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการบริหารการพยาบาล ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการควบคุมคุณภาพการพยาบาล ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการศึกษาวิจัยเกี่ยวกับการพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรม และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรม ถูกสัมภาษณ์เกี่ยวกับตัวชี้วัดผลลัพธ์การพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรม ผ่านการสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง และข้อคําถามปลายเปิด ขั้นตอนที่ 2 นําข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา มาสร้างแบบสอบถามให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญแสดงความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับระดับความสําคัญของข้อคําถามแต่ละข้อ ขั้นตอนที่ 3 นําข้อมูลที่ได้คํานวณค่ามัธยฐาน พิสัยระหว่างควอไทล์ และส่งแบบสอบถามไปให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญยืนยันคําตอบ หลังจากนั้นจึงนําข้อมูลที่ได้มาคํานวณหาค่ามัธยฐาน และ พิสัยระหว่างควอไทล์ เพื่อสรุปผลการวิจัย\n\nผลการวิจัย : ตัวชี้วัดผลลัพธ์การพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรมที่ผู้เชี่ยวชาญมีความคิดเห็นสอดคล้องกัน ประกอบด้วยตัวชี้วัดผลลัพธ์การพยาบาล 31 ข้อ เป็นตัวชี้วัดที่มีความสําคัญระดับมากที่สุด 25 ข้อ และตัวชี้วัดที่มีความสําคัญระดับมาก 6 ข้อ จําแนกเป็น 5 ด้าน ดังนี้ 1) ด้านความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วยที่มีความต่างทางวัฒนธรรม 2 ตัวชี้วัดย่อย 2) ด้านความพึงพอใจต่อบริการพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรม 10 ตัวชี้วัดย่อย 3) ด้านการสื่อสารข้ามวัฒนธรรม เรื่องความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับสุขภาพ 2 ตัวชี้วัดย่อย 4) ด้านการดูแลสุขภาพตามวิถี ความเชื่อที่สอดคล้องกับแผนการรักษาพยาบาล 12 ตัวชี้วัดย่อย และ 5) ด้านการพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรม เพื่อบรรเทาความทุกข์ทรมาน 5 ตัวชี้วัดย่อ\n\nสรุป:ผลการวิจัยนี้สามารถนํามาใช้เป็นแนวทางสําหรับผู้บริหารทางการพยาบาลในการกําหนดตัวชี้วัดผลลัพธ์การพยาบาลข้ามวัฒนธรรมที่เหมาะสม

วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยทํานายสุขภาวะของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ โรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐแบบแผนงานวิจัย: การวิจัยแบบความสัมพันธ์เชิงทํานาย\n\nวิธีดําเนินการวิจัย : กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ พยาบาลวิชาชีพทุกระดับที่ปฏิบัติงานในโรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ จํานวน 361 คน คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม ประกอบด้วยข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล บรรยากาศความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงาน ความเครียดในงาน และสุขภาวะของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ มีค่าความตรงตามเนื้อหาระหว่าง .85 - .95 และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาคอนบราคเท่ากับ .90, .82, และ .92 ตามลําดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ไคสแควร์ สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของPearson และวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุคูณแบบเป็นขั้นตอน\n\nผลการวิจัย : 1) สุขภาวะของพยาบาลวิชาชีพโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับดี ( X = 3.84, SD = 0.80) 2) อายุ รายได้ และบรรยากาศความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงาน มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับสุขภาวะของพยาบาลวิชาชีพอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (r = .18, .25, .38 ตามลําดับ, p < .05) ส่วนความเครียดในงานมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับสุขภาวะของพยาบาลวิชาชีพอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (r = -.24, p < .05) 3) บรรยากาศความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงาน รายได้ และความเครียดในงาน สามารถร่วมกันพยากรณ์สุขภาวะของพยาบาลวิชาชีพได้ร้อยละ 21.3 อย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05\n\nสรุป : ผู้บริหารทางการพยาบาลควรส่งเสริมให้พยาบาลวิชาชีพมีสุขภาวะที่ดีทั้ง 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านร่างกายจิตใจ สังคม อารมณ์ และจิตวิญญาณ โดยส่งเสริมให้มีการจัดบรรยากาศความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงานจัดให้มีการลดความเครียดในงาน และสนับสนุนให้พยาบาลวิชาชีพมีรายได้ที่เหมาะสมเพียงพอ

วัตถุประสงค์ : เปรียบเทียบความต้องการข้อมูลและการได้รับข้อมูลของผู้ป่วยโรคไตเรื้อรังก่อนการบําบัดทดแทนไต\n\nรูปแบบการวิจัย : การศึกษาเชิงพรรณนาเปรียบเทียบ\n\nวิธีดําเนินการวิจัย : กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือผู้ป่วยโรคไตเรื้อรังก่อนการบําบัดทดแทนไต ระยะที่ 3-5 จํานวน 120 คน คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบสุ่มตามความสะดวก เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามความต้องการข้อมูลและแบบสอบถามการได้รับข้อมูลของผู้ป่วยโรคไตเรื้อรังก่อนการบําบัดทดแทนไต วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณนา และสถิติทดสอบ Wilcoxon signed-rank test \n\nผลการวิจัย : ค่าเฉลี่ยความต้องการข้อมูลโดยรวมของกลุ่มตัวอย่างอยู่ในระดับสูง (Mean = 4.01, SD = 0.81) ค่าเฉลี่ยของความต้องการข้อมูลในเรื่องการควบคุมโรคหรือแนวทางการดูแลตนเองเพื่อชะลอความเสื่อมของไตมีค่ามากที่สุด (Mean = 4.33, SD = 0.95) ขณะที่ค่าน้อยที่สุดเป็นของความต้องการข้อมูลเรื่องผลกระทบในเรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์/การมีบุตร (Mean = 3.08, SD = 1.45) ในทางตรงกันข้าม ค่าเฉลี่ยการได้รับข้อมูลโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (Mean = 3.08, SD = 1.03) โดยการได้รับคําอธิบายทุกครั้งก่อนรับการรักษาหรือการพยาบาลเป็นข้อที่ถูกเลือกมากที่สุด (Mean = 3.45, SD = 1.21) และการได้รับข้อมูลเรื่องผลกระทบในเรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์/การมีบุตรเป็นข้อที่ถูกเลือกน้อยที่สุด (Mean = 2.30, SD = 1.42) เมื่อวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบระหว่างความต้องการข้อมูลและการได้รับข้อมูลพบว่าการได้รับข้อมูลมีค่าน้อยกว่าความต้องการข้อมูลอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ ทั้งด้านโดยรวม (Z = -7.33, p < .001) และรายข้อในทุกข้อคําถาม (Z = -6.92 - 9.44, p < .01)\n\nสรุป : บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่เกี่ยวข้องควรให้ความสําคัญในการวางแผน และพัฒนาวิธีการให้ข้อมูลเพื่อให้ผู้ป่วยโรคไตเรื้อรังได้รับข้อมูลที่เหมาะสม และตรงความต้องการของผู้ป่วยแต่ละบุคคล

วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อศึกษาผลของการพัฒนาหลักสูตรการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพในการป้องกันมะเร็งปากมดลูกของศูนย์เรียนรู้ทางการพยาบาล\n\nรูปแบบการวิจัย : การวิจัยและพัฒนา\n\nวิธีดํ าเนินการวิจัย : การศึกษานี้แบ่งเป็น 2 ระยะ คือ 1) การพัฒนาหลักสูตรการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพโดยการวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ทบทวนเอกสาร และงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง 2) การประเมินการใช้หลักสูตรการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพจากพยาบาลและนิสิตพยาบาล จํ านวน 23 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ได้แก่แบบสอบถามความรู้เกี่ยวกับยุทธศาสตร์การสร้างเสริมสุขภาพในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลและแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นต่อการใช้หลักสูตรของศูนย์การเรียนรู้ทางการพยาบาล ข้อมูลถูกวิเคราะห์โดยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา สถิติพรรณนา และสถิติ Wilcoxon signed ranks test\n\nผลการวิจัย : 1. หลักสูตรการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพในการป้องกันมะเร็งปากมดลูก เนื้อหาประกอบด้วยความเป็นมาของการให้บริการ ขั้นตอนการให้บริการ และการพัฒนานวัตกรรมการบริการสู่การเป็นศูนย์เรียนรู้ โดยนํายุทธศาสตร์การสร้างเสริมสุขภาพมาเป็นกลวิธีในการดําเนินงาน 2. ภายหลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม พยาบาลและนิสิตพยาบาลมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความรู้เกี่ยวกับการใช้ยุทธศาสตร์การสร้างเสริมสุขภาพเพิ่มขึ้นแต่ไม่มีนัยสําคัญ (Z=1.51, p =.06) และมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นต่อการใช้หลักสูตรของศูนย์การเรียนรู้อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (Mean = 4.68, SD=0.26)\n\nสรุป : หลักสูตรการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพในการป้องกันมะเร็งปากมดลูก ได้พัฒนารูปแบบบริการอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อที่ว่าพยาบาลสามารถนําไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลโดยใช้ยุทธศาสตร์การสร้างเสริมสุขภาพ

Purpose

To explore inpatient pediatric nurses' current experiences and perspectives on medication teaching.

Design and Methods

A descriptive qualitative study was conducted at a Midwest pediatric hospital. Using convenience sampling, 26 nurses participated in six focus groups. Data were analyzed in an iterative group coding process.

Results

Three themes emerged. 1) Medication teaching is an opportunity. 2) Medication teaching is challenging. Nurses experienced structural and process challenges to deliver medication teaching. Structural challenges included the physical hospital environment, electronic health record, and institutional discharge workflow while process challenges included knowledge, relationships and interactions with caregivers, and available resources. 3) Medication …

Disability, institutionalization, and loss of independence may be directly caused or exacerbated by physical inactivity and obesity. The purpose of the current cross-sectional survey was to explore the impact of gender and obesity on functional ability tasks, physical activity, and psychosocial factors in older adults. Participants comprised 964 University retirees (55% female, mean age = 75.3 years, SD = 6.7 years) with a mean body mass index (BMI) of 26.1 kg/m² (SD = 4.7 kg/m²). Minimal contact lifestyle interventions with multiple components coupled with health screening have the potential to improve worker health. The purpose of this study was to test a minimal contact multiple component lifestyle diet and exercise intervention. The multiple components that were included in this project included a worksite health screening, brief counseling session, emailed newsletter, and a pedometer. In response to the intervention, participants reported an increase in green salad, fruit, and vegetable consumption as well as an increase in self-efficacy for consuming three servings of fruits and vegetables a day. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the attitudes of nursing students towards providing care of dying patients while controlling for religiosity. The study used a quantitative causal-comparative research design using two administered questionnaires, the Frommelt’s Attitudes Towards Care of the Dying (FATCOD B) and the Duke University Religion Index (DUREL). Introduction—Lesbian, gay, and bisexual (LGB) individuals smoke at rates 1.5–2 times higher than the general population, but less is known about LGB consumption of other tobacco products (OTPs) and gender differences. OTP use among young adult LGB bar patrons and the relationship among past quit attempts, intention to quit, and binge drinking with OTP use was examined.

Methods—A cross-sectional survey of young adults (aged 18–26) in bars/nightclubs in seven U.S. cities between 2012 and 2014 (N=8,010; 1,101 LGB participants) was analyzed in 2016. Objective: The study examined the relationship between exposure to e‐cigarette advertising and e‐cigarette use by pregnancy status, including use of flavored e‐cigarette products, among women of childbearing age.

Design: A cross‐sectional, correlational design was used.

Subjects: Female current or former tobacco users in Central and Eastern Kentucky, 18–45 years old (N = 194, 52% pregnant).

Measures: Demographics, pregnancy status, cigarette and e‐cigarette use, and exposure to e‐cigarette advertising.

Results: Younger age, white non‐Hispanic race, and greater exposure to e‐cigarette advertising were associated with a higher likelihood of ever using e‐cigarettes (p < .05 for each variable). Pregnancy was not associated with ever use (p = .11). Younger age was associated …

Heart failure is a high mortality, chronic disease that is economically and physiologically costly for patients, caregivers, and society. Heart failure teaching alone is insufficient in meeting the complex self-care needs of the heart failure patient. This project implemented evidence-based teaching methods that are skill-based and problem-solving based to educate heart failure patients in an outpatient setting. The theoretical foundation of this project was Bandura’s theory of self-efficacy and Orem’s theory of self-care. Purpose: The purpose of this evidence-based practice project was to improve early identification using ultrasound in pediatric patients who met the diagnostic criteria for acute appendicitis in the emergency department.

Background: One of the most common diagnoses of pediatric patients seen in the emergency department with an abdominal complaint is an acute appendicitis (Mostbeck et al., 2016).
