Background; Sinonasal neoplasms, whether benign and malignant, pose a significant challenge to clinicians and represent a model area for multidisciplinary collaboration in order to optimize patient care. The International Consensus Statement on Allergy and Rhinology; Sinonasal Tumors (ICSNT) aims to summarize the best available evidence and presents 48 thematic and histopathology-based topics spanning the field. Methods; In accordance with prior International Consensus Statement on Allergy and Rhinology documents, ICSNT assigned each topic as an Evidence-Based Review with Recommendations, Evidence-Based Review, and Literature Review based on the level of evidence. Background: Hodgkin lymphoma is a systemic disease that commonly involves the cervical, supraclavicular, and mediastinal lymph nodes. The involvement of central nervous system in Hodgkin lymphoma is extremely rare, and diagnosis is usually established using distinct morphological and immunohistochemical staining on the tissue biopsied. Extranodal presentation of HL is a rare occurrence. It has been evident that prognosis is encouraging in patients with disease that is limited to just central nervous system initially or as relapse, compared with involvement of multiple sites of relapse.

Metachronous Renal Ewing Sarcoma/Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumour In A Survivor Of Burkitt Lymphoma, Kumail Khandwala, Kiran Hilal, Zehra Fadoo, Khurram Minhas

We present a case of a 14-year-old girl who was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma in 2014. She was managed with chemotherapy and remained in remission for 3 years. On her surveillance imaging in 2017, a left-sided renal neoplastic mass was incidentally discovered. She underwent nephrectomy and pathology of the resected specimen revealed small cell tumour of the kidney with features favouring renal Ewing sarcoma/primitive neuroectodermal tumour. Molecular genetic analysis by fluorescence in situ hybridisation was performed which showed translocation of 22q12, thereby confirming the diagnosis. Objective: To assess the knowledge and attitude of Muslim cancer patients regarding cancer treatment during Ramadan.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, from July to August 2015, and comprised cancer patients. .Adult Muslim cancer patients receiving active oncological treatment or on surveillance were included. Patients on only supportive treatment were excluded. SPSS 19 was used for data analysis.
Results: Of the 265 patients, 87(32.8%) were males and 178(67.2%) were females. The overall mean age was 49±13.87 years. Besides, 184(70.9%) patients belonged to the middle class. Breast cancer was the most common cancer 106(40.6%). …
