Reducing Food Scarcity: The Benefits Of Urban Farming, S.A. Claudell, Emilio Mejia
Journal of Nonprofit Innovation
Urban farming can enhance the lives of communities and help reduce food scarcity. This paper presents a conceptual prototype of an efficient urban farming community that can be scaled for a single apartment building or an entire community across all global geoeconomics regions, including densely populated cities and rural, developing towns and communities. When deployed in coordination with smart crop choices, local farm support, and efficient transportation then the result isn’t just sustainability, but also increasing fresh produce accessibility, optimizing nutritional value, eliminating the use of ‘forever chemicals’, reducing transportation costs, and fostering global environmental benefits.

The Effect of Using bolometric Exercises on Enhancing Explosive Strength among Female Students of the Faculty of Physical Education at Yarmouk University. The study purpose was to identify the effect of bolometric exercises on improving the explosive force of female students in the Faculty of Physical Education at Yarmouk University. The researchers used the experimental method. The sample consisted of 22 students in the course of preparation and physical fitness for the first semester of the academic year (2018-2019) and the sample was chosen by randomly. The researchers designed a training program that includes training exercises, consisting of (18) training …

Health Care Information Technology: Securing The Electronic Health Record With Biometric Technology, Alyssa Iacona
The Review: A Journal of Undergraduate Student Research
The principal focus of this paper is to examine the integration of biometric technology into healthcare’s information technology systems. Biometric technology, a rapidly evolving mechanism, analyzes specific anatomical and physiological features of an individual for identity verification (Perrin, 2002). Moreover, as the federal government has mandated all health records to be electronic in 2014, the implementation of biometrics has become a prevalent means of security. In an effort to adhere to the patient privacy laws authorized by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), biometric recognition is currently used to restrict access to verified health care providers and detect …
