Objective: During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, many other health providers needed to rapidly adopt telehealth services to ensure continuity of patient care, without the opportunity to extensively evaluate the usability of the adopted technology. Therefore, this study aims to examine health professionals’ telehealth usability during COVID-19 in Florida.

Design: This cross-sectional study employed the Telehealth Usability Questionnaire (TUQ) to licensed healthcare providers in Florida in June 2020.

Older adults with obesity residing in rural areas have reduced access to weight management programs. We determined the feasibility, acceptability and preliminary outcomes of an integrated technology-based health promotion intervention in rural-living, older adults using remote monitoring and synchronous video-based technology.

A 6-month, non-randomized, non-blinded, single-arm study was conducted from October 2018 to May 2020 at a community-based aging center of adults aged ≥65 years with a body mass index (BMI) ≥30 kg/m2. Detection and analysis of volatile organic compounds’ (VOCs) biomarkers lead to improvement in healthcare diagnosis and other applications such as chemical threat detection and food quality control. Chronic wasting  disease (CWD)  is  a 100  percent  fatal,  prion  disease of  deer  that  has  the potential  to decimate  the  deer  population and  jump to  the  human  population.   A  simple  Google  search on  the  “origin of  chronic wasting  disease” yielded  a total  of  56  relevant  articles.   Of  these,  75  percent  report  that  the origin  is  unknown,  19.6  percent  report  that  the  disease  may  have  originated  in  a  Fort  Collins,  Colorado, government  research facility, and 5.4 percent  report  other  possible  origins.  Government  sources  reported the  Fort  Collins  theory  4.3 percent  of  the  time  while  non-governmental  sources,  such  as news articles, reported …

Preliminary research has shown the effectiveness of supervised exercise-based interventions in alleviating sequela resulting from metastatic prostate cancer. However, many individuals encounter barriers that limit the uptake of face-to-face exercise. Technology-enabled interventions offer a distance-based alternative. This pilot study aimed to explore the acceptability, safety and preliminary efficacy of a web-based exercise intervention (ExerciseGuide) in individuals with metastatic prostate cancer. However, the efficacy of GWS in covering G-C rich regions of DNA, detection of variants, coverage of the exome, reanalysis, and identifying disease origin in non-coding regions of DNA remains to be proven.
