Double burdens of malnutrition among women have occurred across most developing countries including Indonesia. This study compared the associated factors among overweight and underweight of women in reproductive age (WRA) in rural Ciampea Sub-district, Bogor, West Java. This cross-sectional study surveyed the nutritional status of 575 mothers (16-49 years old) who have under two-years-old children. Nutritional status was assessed by body-mass-index (BMI) and mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), food security status by US-Food Security Survey Module (US-FSSM), dietary intake by a single 24-H dietary recall. This study describes the development of N-benzyl-1,10-phenantrolinium salt as an antiplasmodium agent. The salt, that is, 1-(4-ethoxy-3-methoxybenzyl)-1,10-phenanthrolin-1-ium bromide, was prepared using vanillin as the starting material in four simple synthetic steps. First, the alkylation of vanillin using diethyl sulfate produced 4-ethoxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde in 79% yield. Second, the reduction of the protected vanillin by NaBH₄ through the grinding method allowed us to obtain 4-ethoxy-3-methoxybenzyl alcohol in 96% yield. The exact pathomechanism is not fully understood, but typically abundant acid-fast bacilli in the walls of blood vessels point to direct perturbation of blood supply to the epidermis. This study examined factors associated with MDD achievement among breastfed children aged 6-23 months based on Indonesia’s Demographic and Health Survey 2017. This study used chi-square and multiple logistic regression to analyze the data. Among 2,976 children only around 53% children met MDD recommendation. Introduction: Despite its rarity, nail involvement in Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) may show various clinical presentations. This study aims to show the roles of nail involvement in LCH patients as the diagnostic and prognostic clues.
Case illustrations: We presented four cases of multisystem LCH in children which were already confirmed by skin biopsy with various nail abnormalities. We were able to perform nail biopsy in two patients and confirmed the nail involvement. Histopathological examination showed the infiltration of Langerhans cells characterized by indented/reniform nuclei and CD1a expressions. All patients had high-risk organ involvements.

Background: Systemic sclerosis is a multi-systemic disease characterized by excessive fibrosis, inflammation, and vasculopathy. Common clinical features include skin thickening, telangiectasias, salt and pepper skin, beak-shaped nose, and microstomy. We report a case of ANA-negative systemic sclerosis in a male patient.

Case illustration: Our patient presented with a 10-month history of diffuse hyperpigmentation, skin tightening and decreased mouth aperture, accompanied by digital ulcers, hypopigmented macules and violaceous discoloration of the digits upon exposure to cold temperature.
