Your Bulldog Wellness Committee is declaring May as “Movement and Mental Health” month. March is Colorectal Cancer Education & Awareness Month.

Colorectal Cancer is the 3rd most common cancer diagnosed and the 2nd leading cause of cancer related death. Since we are all affected, it is recommended that we begin screening at age 45 and most insurances cover 100% of the expense.

  • The Delta variant is nearly twice as contagious as previous variants.
  • Some data suggest the Delta variant might cause more severe illness than previous strains in unvaccinated persons.

The thyroid gland is a small, butterfly-shaped gland located in the base of the neck and its job is to make thyroid hormones, which are secreted into the blood and then carried to every tissue in the body. National Diabetes Awareness Month Diabetes is one of the leading causes of disability and death in the United States. One in 10 Americans have diabetes — that’s more than 30 million people. There are also 84 million adults in the United States are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Depending on your age, weight, and other factors, you may be at higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The good news is that making healthy changes can greatly lower your risk. To help prevent type 2 diabetes:
