The aim of this article is to review indications for 38% SDF and the appropriate technique for use. Evidence-based recommendations by the American Dental Association and umbrella reviews of systematic reviews are summarized to provide indications for SDF use in primary and permanent teeth, including sound surfaces and those with non-cavitated and cavitated caries lesions. High-quality evidence supports that SDF is an effective treatment alternative for managing active cavitated coronal and root caries lesions and preventing root caries lesions. OBJECTIVE: Studies with statistically significant results are frequently more likely to be published than those with non-significant results. This phenomenon leads to publication bias or small-study effects and can seriously affect the validity of the conclusion from systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Small-study effects typically appear in a specific direction, depending on whether the outcome of interest is beneficial or harmful, but this direction is rarely taken into account in conventional methods.

The Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) Dental Health Center sought to learn how COVID-19 affected dental care attainment and patient perceptions of appropriate safety measures, as well as their acceptance of the dental office as a site for COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Rev. Dr. William J. Danaher Jr. details the efforts of Christ Church Cranbrook and the Muslim Unity Center in Michigan to address the healthcare needs of Afghan refugees, particularly in dental care. This study investigated the effect of bleaching on color change of the single shade universal composite (Omnichroma) versus nano-filled resin composite (Z350 XT).

Methods: Twenty premolars of shade A3 were used for the study. Standardized class V cavities were prepared on the cervical third of the buccal surface of all teeth. After that, teeth were randomly divided into two groups of 10 teeth each according to the type of resin composite used. Methodology: A cross sectional study was conducted. Self-administered structured questionnaire ( PSDQ) contains 32 statements regarding different parent reactions to child behavior, and participants rated responses to each item using a five-point likert scale from “never” to “always” (coded 1 to 5).The target population consisted of 105 children with their parents in Faculty of Dentistry, Future University aged 3-6 years old. Pregnancy involves complex physical and hormonal changes that significantly impact almost every organ system, including the oral cavity. The presence of oral disease in women has consequences for both their child and their health. The two main oral conditions linked to pregnancy are gingivitis and periodontal disease.
