This study focused on understanding the oral health and dental prostheses status of patients with mild to moderate dementia at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. A total of 88 patients participated in this cross-sectional study, which utilized the Oral Health Assessment Tool (OHAT) and modified CDA score to evaluate the oral health of patients with a dementia diagnosis. The study revealed significant oral health issues among participants, particularly in terms of gum and oral tissue problems, and oral cleanliness. Objective: To investigate precision of implant placement with sleeve-in-sleeve and sleeve-on-drill static Computer Assisted Implant Surgery (sCAIS) designs. Materials and Methods: 32 models were digitally planned and fabricated simulating a patient with bilateral missing first premolar. 8 models were assigned in each group: Group A, B and C represented sleeve-in-sleeve design with 2, 4 and 6mm sleeve height respectively. การศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาไปข้างหน้าจากเหตุไปหาผลในผู้ป่วยเข้ารับการรักษารับการรักษาทางทันตกรรรมประดิษฐ์จำนวน 87 คน ผลลัพธ์ของการศึกษาคือคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากและคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพ โดยใช้ดัชนีประเมินผลกระทบของสุขภาพช่องปากต่อสมรรถภาพในชีวิตประจำวันและเครื่องมือวัดคุณภาพชีวิตขององค์การอนามัยโลกฉบับย่อ ตามลำดับ ตัวแปรร่วม ได้แก่ ลักษณะทั่วไป สภาวะสุขภาพและสภาวะสุขภาพช่องปาก เก็บข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์ การตรวจในช่องปากและการศึกษาจากแฟ้มประวัติ หลังการแก้ไขฟันเทียมครั้งสุดท้าย 1 เดือน เก็บข้อมูลคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากและคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพโดยการสัมภาษณ์ทางโทรศัพท์ ใช้การทดสอบของการทดสอบวิลคอกซันวิเคราะห์การเปลี่ยนแปลงของคะเเนน OIDP และ WHOQOL-BREF เวลาก่อนและหลังการรักษา ข้อมูลทั้งหมดวิเคราะห์ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญร้อยละ 5 ผลการศึกษาแสดงว่าหลังการรักษาผู้เข้าร่วมการศึกษามีคะแนน OIDP รวมลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ และคะแนน WHOQOL-BREF รวมเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ โดยที่เวลาก่อนการรักษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อคะแนน OIDP รวมคือจำนวนฟันธรรมชาติและจำนวนคู่สบฟันหลัง ในขณะที่ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อคะแนน WHOQOL-BREF รวมคือสถานภาพสมรสและความเพียงพอของรายได้ จึงสรุปได้ว่าภายหลังการรักษาทางทันตกรรมประดิษฐ์ผู้ป่วยมีคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากและคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพดีขึ้น

Purpose: The inclusion of interprofessional education (IPE) is essential for the health professions curricula and establishes the expectation of collaborative patient-centered care. The COVID-19 pandemic has required educators to develop innovative methods for IPE student engagement. The purpose of this study was to evaluate a college-based virtual IPE activity for first-year health profession students and measure their interprofessional socialization and values (ISVS) toward IPE teams. The validated interprofessional socialization and valuing scales (ISVS-9A/9B) were used.

Specific aims: The purpose of this study was to explore the association between various intraoral markers and the risk of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in children. Specifically, nine intraoral clinical characteristics were analyzed: ankyloglossia, palatal vault height, presence and level of dental wear, tonsillar grade, Friedman's classification, skeletal and dental classification, and posterior crossbite. The correlation between these features and the Pediatric Sleep Questionnaire (PSQ) and Pediatric Symptoms Checklist (PSC) scores were assessed.

A modular reinforced bone scaffold with enhanced mechanical properties has recently been developed by our group. It includes: 1) A load-bearing module: a skeleton which is made of a slowly degradable material, undertaking mechanical necessities of the scaffold, and 2) A bio-reactive module: a porous and biodegradable component undertaking biological necessities of the scaffold. An ideal orthodontic force system should exert continuous light force. An orthodontist has the option to utilize different systems for closing orthodontic extraction space. A commonly used method when closing extraction space is to utilize orthodontic elastomeric chain. Researchers have compared the differences between hand compaction of root-end filling bioceramics with compaction of these materials by hand followed by ultrasonic activation (hand/ultrasonic compaction). Additionally, most of these researchers did not utilize Micro-Computed Tomography (Micro-CT) analysis. The purpose of this study is to evaluate total porosity volume of three different bioceramics when compacted by hand alone versus hand/ultrasonic compaction using Micro-CT Analysis.
