This patient came to University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry to get implants and implant crowns to improve his smile, replacing his upper partial denture. Different approaches were made by the faculty to arrive at best outcomes, which took four years for the patient to receive the treatment he wanted. This abstract will further detail how the treatment was conducted and the results afterwards.

This study aimed to survey the attitudes and knowledge of Thai general dental practitioners (GDPs) in proving dental implant maintenance care. The online questionnaire was sent to Thai GDPs who graduated between 2000 and 2016. Of the returned 435 questionnaires, 429 completely filled were included for analysis. 76% of the participants were female and 24% were male. Half of the participants were aged 28-33 years old and 78% of the participants have been working as a GDP 10 years or below. It refers to the patient’s perception of the effects of the disease and therapy, and their impact on daily functioning and general feeling of well being. Material and Methods: In this prospective study, a total of 100 patients treated at our institution, completed the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) QLQ-C30 questionnaire and the specific EORTC QLQ-H&N35 module.
