The ten-year anniversary (!) of the CUNY Games Conference combines workshops, idea exchanges, interactive participant presentations, playtesting, and playing tabletop games into a two-day hybrid event to promote and discuss game-based learning. The conference focuses on creative pedagogy, such as playful learning activities or games, that teachers can use in the classroom every day. Day 1 featured interactive presentations by attendees, informal idea exchange sessions, and workshops by the conference organizers. Day 2 featured select presentations and workshops, poster sessions, playtesting and game modding, and casual play of tabletop games.

This capstone aims to measure entrepreneurial self-efficacy in students enrolled in occupational therapy (OT) programs across the nation by sending an online survey. Occupational therapy’s profession has expressed a need for more entrepreneurs within its field. Further research into the factors that contribute to the lack of entrepreneurship in OT was performed and are described. Background: Heart failure has an estimated global prevalence of 64.3 million cases, with an average age of a person living with heart failure at 75.2 years. Approximately 20% of residents living in nursing homes (a long-term residential care environment for some individuals) report living with heart failure. Residents living with heart failure in nursing home environments are often frail, have reduced quality of life, higher rates of rehospitalisation and mortality, and greater complications in heart failure management. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess the oral health education and dental care access of families of children with Down syndrome in New Mexico.

Methods: The data were gathered from a survey available to members of the Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network for 14 days containing 13 questions.

Results: The most reported age range for the individuals in care were 0-14 years at 41.6%. Most individuals with Down syndrome receive dental services every six months (62.5%) at a regular dental office (54.2%). • Minimally invasive surgery often requires tissue morcellation for extraction of large surgical specimens.¹
• Surgeon comfort with tissue morcellation in gynecologic surgery is vital in providing a minimally invasive (MIS) approach.
• However, OBGYN residents often feel underprepared to perform this skill independently.²
• While practicing tissue morcellation in the OR is ideal, simulation has been shown to improve resident technical skill without risking increased operative time or associated morbidity.³

The study aimed to determine the accuracy of diagnosing periodontal conditions using the developed web-based PocketPerio application and evaluate the user’s perspective on the use of PocketPerio. First, 22 third-year dental students (DS3) diagnosed ten cases without PocketPerio (control) and with PocketPerio (test) during a mock examination. Then, 105 DS3, 13 fourth-year dental students (DS4), and 32 senior second-year International Standing Program students (ISP2) used PocketPerio chairside. Statistical analysis was performed using a non-parametric paired two-tailed test of significance with the Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed rank test. Objective: Three-dimensional (3D)-printed endovascular models can be an accessible alternative to expensive, state-of-the-art endovascular simulators but currently lack the rigorous validation needed to be dependable educational tools. This study describes the manufacture of a 3D-printed endovascular model of an aorta and determines the construct validity and preliminary content and face validity of the model. Drawing from a mixed-methods approach, data was gathered through an online survey and interviews conducted at the UNMC GOODLIFE Clinic, a student-run clinic. Findings reveal differences in perceptions between post-graduate professionals and students regarding the role and importance of interprofessionalism. Objectives: To examine the association of depression and coronary heart disease in U.S. adults.

Methods: This cross-sectional study uses the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), 2022 data for non-institutionalized U.S adults aged 18 and older. The exposure variable is depression, the outcome is coronary heart disease (CHD), and covariates are age, race, education, and physical activity. Performed univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses to assess the association between depression and CHD.

Context: To provide high-quality, safe training during the COVID-19 pandemic, our anatomic pathology fellowship program implemented a hybrid virtual/in-person training model with supplemental digital material.

Objective: To evaluate the impact of this model.

Design: We examined Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education survey results and board pass rates for fellows before the pandemic (group 1); during the pandemic peak (group 2); and early and late after the pandemic peak (groups 3 and 4).
