การวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง ใช้รูปแบบการศึกษาสองกลุ่ม วัดผลก่อนและหลังการทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบ 1) ภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ที่เป็นโรคจิตเภทในชุมชน ก่อนและหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังสำหรับผู้ดูแล และ2) ภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ที่เป็นโรคจิตเภทในชุมชน ระหว่างกลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังสำหรับผู้ดูแล กับกลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ดูแลหลักในครอบครัวที่ให้การดูแลผู้ที่เป็นโรคจิตเภทที่อาศัยอยู่ในชุมชน ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติครบตามเกณฑ์ จำนวน 50 คน จากนั้นได้รับการจับคู่ด้วยระยะเวลาในการดูแล แล้วสุ่มเข้ากลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มละ 25 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย โปรแกรมการสร้างพลังสำหรับผู้ดูแล แบบวัดภาระในการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท เครื่องมือทุกชุดผ่านการตรวจสอบคุณภาพ โดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน 5 ท่าน มีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟ่าของครอนบาค เท่ากับ .88 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบที ผลการวิจัยสามารถสรุปได้ ดังนี้ 1. ภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ที่เป็นโรคจิตเภทในชุมชน หลังเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังสำหรับผู้ดูแล น้อยกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังสำหรับผู้ดูแล อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 2. ภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ที่เป็นโรคจิตเภทในชุมชน ที่เข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังสำหรับผู้ดูแล น้อยกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

Cigarette smoking among adolescent is a significant public health issue in South Asia, especially in Pakistan. This randomized controlled trial with a repeated-measures design aimed to compare changes in smoking cessation (primary outcome) measured by both self-reported and carbon monoxide exhalation level quit rates, and smoking quit attempts as secondary outcome, among male adolescent smokers aged 16-19. This cross-sectional study aimed to examine work engagement and test the causal relationships among transformational leadership, organizational safety climate, psychological empowerment, job autonomy, and work engagement among nurses in general hospitals in the Magway Region, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. This dissertation aimed to advance the understanding of reproductive physiology and health in Asian elephants, providing critical insights and innovative methodologies for reproductive management. Chapter II established a foundational framework for normal reproductive cycling, detailing the luteal and follicular phases, and introduced a simplified, practical body condition score (BCS) method as a diagnostic tool for assessing general health and welfare. It highlighted unresolved reproductive issues, such as abnormal cycling, and revealed that progesterone peaks, with the majority (53.57%), and the onset of the follicular phase predominantly occurred during the rainy season. STAT mutations cause immune system dysfunction and many diseases, such as autoimmune cytopenias, lymphoproliferative disorders, susceptibility to infections, endocrinopathies, and growth defects. However, the molecular activity of these proteins remains unclear. Here, we investigated the phosphorylation, nuclear translocation, and gene expression levels of Stat1, Stat3, and Stat5b, as well as downstream target genes of these proteins, using mouse fibroblasts with Stat3 wild type and Stat3 L387R gain-of-function (GOF) variant edited by CRISPR-Cas9 technique as a model. Arcobacter butzleri is an emerging zoonotic pathogen associated with gastrointestinal illnesses in humans, yet standardized antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) methods and interpretive breakpoints for this microorganism remain unavailable. Broth microdilution, despite being endorsed by the CLSI-VAST subcommittee, is often impractical in several laboratories. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate agar dilution as a more feasible alternative to broth microdilution. A total of 415 A. butzleri isolates from various meat sources in Bangkok, Thailand were confirmed by PCR and tested against ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, gentamicin, and tetracycline. African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) is a large double-stranded DNA virus responsible for the highly contagious and lethal African Swine Fever (ASF), affecting the global porcine industry. The virus has a genome length of 170-194 kb and is broadly categorized into the left variable region (LVR), the right variable region (RVR), and the central conserved region (CCR). Recently, FAO and WOAH have set the goal to eradicate the disease in 2030. The domestic dog has a unique reproductive physiology in which oocytes are ovulated at an immature stage and complete nuclear maturation within the oviduct approximately 48–72 hours after ovulation. This thesis aimed to investigate proteomic changes in both serum and oviductal secretions associated with oocyte development, using a combination of natural and hormonally induced ovulation models. To evaluate dynamic changes in serum proteins across the estrous cycle, samples from healthy bitches in four stages—anestrus, proestrus, estrus, and diestrus—were analyzed, revealing 38 significantly altered proteins. This study aimed to investigate the identification of flea species infesting goats and to study the molecular prevalence and genetic characterization of hemotropic mycoplasmas in goats and fleas. A total of 500 blood and 79 flea samples were collected from goat farms across seven provinces in Thailand between January 2017 and October 2023. Among the 500 goats examined, 6.6% were infested with fleas, which were morphologically identified and molecularly characterized using mitochondrial (cox-I, cox-II) and nuclear (ITS1, EF-1α) markers as Ctenocephalides orientis. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR), food safety, and sustainable poultry farming are critical global concerns driving the exploration of probiotics as alternatives to antibiotics. This study focused on the isolation, characterization, and evaluation of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains and the performance of two probiotics—ProCU (a blend of locally isolated LAB strains) and TOP GUT (a commercial Clostridium butyricum product)—in mitigating Salmonella infection, improving growth performance, and modulating the gut microbiota and resistome in broiler chickens. This study evaluated the effects of dietary supplementation with a multi-strain probiotic containing Bacillus subtilis (5 × 107 CFU/g) and Lactobacillus plantarum (1 × 109 CFU/g) on reproductive performance in multiparous sows and growth performance in weaned piglets. In Experiment 1, 300 sows were assigned to control or probiotic diets across five parity groups (2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 to 9) using a 2 × 5 factorial design. Accurate forecasting of COVID-19 case dynamics is essential for facilitating robust public health strategies and interventions is critical for effective public health planning and response. This study introduced novel deep learning models that integrate autocorrelation (ACF) and partial autocorrelation (PACF) into LSTM and GRU networks to improve forecasts of cumulative confirmed, recovered, and death cases. Six variants—ACF/PACF-enhanced LSTM and GRU models—were compared with standard LSTM, GRU, and ARIMA across eleven countries during non-vaccination, vaccination, and entire study period. Background: Following Thailand's 2021 legislative reforms to expand legal abortion access, informational barriers remain a challenge. Teachers, a key source of reproductive health information, influence youth abortion decisions. However, safe abortion is not formally included in the training of future educators. Method(s): A quantitative, cross-sectional study was conducted in Bangkok among undergraduate students enrolled in degree programs leading to a teaching qualification at 19 tertiary institutions. Data were collected using a self-administered online questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square tests of association, and multiple linear regression. Gender-based violence (GBV) remains a critical concern during disasters, yet preventive engagement is limited. This mixed-methods study examined GBV prevention among disaster-affected women and gender-diverse individuals in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, using a survey (n=424) and in-depth interviews (n=5). Despite high GBV knowledge (63.9%) and positive attitudes (51.7%), only 23.6% engaged in preventive practices. Key quantitative findings show that evacuation experience (OR=1.793, p=0.016) increased engagement, while prior IPV/GBV experience (OR=0.145, p=0.003) and suburban residence (OR=0.631, p=0.044) were associated with lower engagement. Knowledge (OR=1.383, p=0.184) and attitude (OR=1.336, p=0.213) did not significantly predict preventive actions. Qualitative findings revealed that participants had limited …
