Objective To investigate the effect of aloe vera gel extract and exudate on the proliferation of osteoblasts isolated from the rat bone marrow stromal cells and the osteoblastic cell line MC3T3-E1. Materials and methods Cells were treated with the aloe vera gel extract and exudate at different concentrations in the serum-free media for 24 hours. After that the amount of cells were measured with the MTT assay and analyzed with One-Way Analysis of Variance.
