A leaflet created by the U.S. Federal Security Agency and U.S. Office of Education describing the osteopathic profession, opportunities, and education. The leaflet was created in 1945 and reprinted by the American Osteopathic Association in 1946.

St. Philip School of Nursing (1920-1962)

Yearbooks from the Saint Philip School of Nursing include black and white photographs of faculty, clinic instructors, and students. Also included are informational sections such as student organizations,a Who's Who, class song, illustrations, and advertisements . In this copy, a handwritten inscription on the front endsheet reads: "6-5-47 Property of Miss P.L. Wilkinson, R.N., St. Philip Dorm Room 119". There are several autographs on page 33. A handwritten inscription on the back endsheet reads: "Miss Pearl L. Wilkinson, R.N."

In 1941 the Texas Legislature appropriated $500,000 to the Board of Regents of the University of Texas to establish a cancer research hospital. The M. D. Anderson Foundation offered to match the appropriation with a grant of an equal sum and to provide a permanent site in Houston. In August, 1942 the Board of Regent of the University and the Trustees of the Foundation signed an agreement to embark on this project.
