Background. Living kidney donor transplantation provides recipients with kidney failure with an excellent graft function and survival. Donation of a kidney entails a thorough medical and psychosocial evaluation. Obesity is an increasingly prevalent medical condition and a known risk factor for the development of chronic kidney disease post-donation. Accepting overweight and obese individuals as living kidney donors remains controversial. Background. Hand knob strokes present with unilateral motor weakness of the hand, distal arm, or a particular group of fingers with or without paresthesia. This condition can easily be misdiagnosed as a peripheral mononeuropathy without a high level of suspicion and a thorough history and physical exam. Background. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers an opportunity to enhance formative assessment of clinical reasoning skills. Traditionally, these skills have been assessed through workplace-based assessment or simulated patient encounters, both of which are limited by variability in case exposure, faculty resources, scheduling logistics, and cost. AI-based simulated patient encounters provide a scalable solution for convenient, low-stakes practice. Background. Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) are a major contributor to rising maternal mortality in the United States. Background: Undergraduate nursing students experience stressful clinical situations that may influence learning, emotional well-being, and practice readiness. Structured debriefing provides an avenue for reflective processing; however, variations in debriefing practices can reduce effectiveness. This program evaluation examined the effect of a faculty-developed, standardized eLearning debriefing module on resiliency and coping among BSN students.

Method: A quasi-experimental, one-group pre-test/post-test design was implemented with junior and senior students during clinical rotations. Faculty completed the module and facilitated standardized debriefings. Student resilience and coping were measured using the Connor‑Davidson Resilience Scale and the Brief Resilient Coping Scale.

Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of a mobility aide on a medical-surgical inpatient unit to improve patients’ surgical outcomes, decrease hospital length of stay, and decrease the number of falls.

Design: A retrospective review was conducted to determine the effects of a mobility aide implemented on a medical-surgical unit. The intent was to ensure the utilization of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol for early mobilization before and after implementation.
