Introduction: This research aimed to investigate which waves, Theta or Beta, are significant predictors of visual simple and complex reaction times during the Vienna test, using regression modeling. The research material comprised the test results of male judo athletes (n = 24), selected through mixed sampling (purposive and random). The study was conducted in two cycles, differentiated by frequency but with the same duration of EEG biofeedback sessions, in both the control and experimental groups. Introduction: Deep stabilization system (DSS) strength and endurance are crucial for injury prevention and athletic performance. Training surfaces can influence training outcomes; therefore, this study aimed to compare the impact of performing strength trunk exercises on unstable and stable surfaces with conventional trunk exercises. Materials and Methods: DSS and trunk stability were assessed before and after 10 weeks of three different training interventions among twenty elite futsal players. Each intervention included 25 strength training sessions. Introduction. Direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) has been developed for treatment hepatitis C virus (HCV). Therapy of HCV using DAA has shown high sustained virologic response (SVR) and shortening duration of therapy. Sofosbuvir-ledipasvir (SOF/LDV) is fixed dose combination tablet of DAAs which recommended for genotype 1, 4, 5, and 6 infected patients. In developing countries, SOF/LDV still can be used as cost-effective regimen in all genotype compared with sofosbuvir-daclatasvir (SOF/ DCV). This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of combination sofosbuvir-ledipasvir in all genotypes of HCV patients compared with available DAA in Indonesia (sofosbuvir- daclatasvir).

Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a hemoglobinopathy inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern arising from a mutation causing substitution of valine for glutamic acid in the sixth amino acid of the β-globin chain. The clinical manifestation of SCD varies from acute pain, chronic anemia, to multi-organ infarct and failure. SCD is known to be rare in Indonesia. Lupus eritematosus sistemik (LES) merupakan penyakit kronik yang dapat mengenai berbagai macam organ dengan manifestasi ringan hingga serius. Karakteristik LES adalah sangat dinamis, bervariasi, dengan perjalanan penyakit yang kadang tidak dapat diprediksi. Walau saat ini semakin tinggi pengetahuan tentang patofisiologi, optimalisasi penanganan, dan banyak ditemukan obat yang lebih baik untuk terapi LES, masih banyak ODAPUS (orang dengan lupus) mengalami morbiditas, mortalitas, dan kualitas hidup yang kurang baik. Heart failure is a possible complication following ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) even after revascularization. Neuroendocrine activation in the process of ventricular remodeling can be regulated by angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI) as well as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. The use of ARNI in heart failure with reduced ejection fraction has been found to be superior to ACE inhibitor. The role of ARNI on cardiac function in STEMI has not been established. Background: Histoid leprosy is a rare variant of lepromatous leprosy (LL), characterized by unique clinical, histopathological, and microbiological features. This type of leprosy is caused by multidrug therapy (MDT) drug resistance, train mutation of Mycobacterium leprae, or genetic factors.

Background: Burn injuries generate more free radicals and lead to complex immune dysfunction, which can delay wound healing compared to other wound types. Angiogenesis, essential for wound healing, requires granulation tissue as a marker for successful wound healing. Low concentrations of reactive oxygen species (ROS) are necessary to initiate this process. Background: Lengthy therapeutic regimens in leprosy are prone to defaults, contributing to more antibiotic-resistant Mycobacterium. Intervening patients’ medical habits midway would be more complicated than understanding their perception of undergoing such regimens in advance. We study the factors considered relevant to leprosy patients’ compliance to construct a novel self-reporting questionnaire that can predict the patients’ adherence before initiating multidrug therapy.

Background: Individual case management strategy is not suitable for reducing scabies transmission, especially in high prevalence settings. A community-based approach has been proposed to control scabies. We developed a mobile application, called DeSkab, to empower non-medical personnel in crowded populations e.g., boarding schools, and to aid the identification of skin lesions suggesting scabies based on the cardinal signs of scabies. Background: Lichen amyloidosis (LA) is characterized by linear rows of firm, pigmented, grouped, hyperkeratotic papules that can form a plaque, usually occurring on the shins and forearms, with intense itch as the prominent symptom.

Case Illustration: A 57-year-old female complained of brown spots on her shins and arms that gradually thickened six years ago. The lesions were brown, multiple, discrete, slightly scaly papules forming hyperpigmented plaques. Background: Obesity and overweight pose significant challenges in developing countries, underscoring the need for evidence-based prevention strategies. This study focuses on assessing the prevalence and associated factors of overweight and obesity in the rural areas of Jamnagar district, Gujarat, India.

Methods: Data collection encompassed six tehsils within Jamnagar district, with primary health center selection via simple random sampling. Individual selection employed the consecutive sampling approach. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS software. Regression analysis was employed to identify the independent factors linked to overweight and obesity.

Introduction

Lazarus syndrome is defined as the spontaneous return of circulation after cessation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Though there have been multiple cases of Lazarus syndrome documented in the literature, it is a significantly underreported phenomenon with less than 100 cases reported in the literature since the first case in 1982.

Case Presentation

After elective aortic aneurysm repair, an 88-year-old with a do-not-resuscitate directive had cardiac arrest, briefly showing post-mortem respiration and pulse. Stigma associated with mental illness (MI) permeates many professions, including healthcare. Recognizing and correcting bias is critical in delivering impartial and beneficial healthcare for all patients. Introduction: Childhood obesity is a major health problem especially for schoolchildren both physically and mentally. The study was conducted to assess the effects of the structured physical activity (PA) program on the physical fitness (PF) and self-perception levels of obese schoolchildren.
